Chapter Two: Conflict on the First Day

A while after Ruby and Yang had separated from (Y/N) they went off towards the entrance of Beacon and see what the place looked like from up close. They walked towards the large school that was going to be the place they were going to be staying at for the time being amazed by the size. 

Yang: The view from Vale's got nothing on this.

Ruby was looking interested as well until someone walked by with a weapon that she found interesting along with another person.

Ruby: Ooh! Ooh! Sis that kid has a collapsible staff... And she's got a fire sword!

Before Ruby could float off after them, Yang grabbed her sister and brought her back to where she was.

Yang: Easy there, little sister they're just weapons.

Ruby: Just weapons? They're an extension of ourselves, they're apart of us, they're so cool!

Yang: Well why can't you swoon over your own weapon? Aren't you happy with it?

Ruby: Of course I'm happy with Crescent Rose, I just really like seeing new ones, it's like meeting new people... But better.

Yang: Ruby, come on, why don't you go try and make some friends of your own.

Ruby: But why would I need any when I have you?

Yang: Well... Actually, my friends are here, gotta catch later kay see ya bye.

Yang had just left with her friends leaving a dizzy and confused Ruby who was still trying to ask her sister some questions who was long gone now.

Ruby: Wait where are you going? Are we supposed to go to our dorms? Where are our dorms.... Do we have dorms? I don't know what I'm doing?

She suddenly fell knocking suit cases everywhere with some of them falling on top of her

???: What are you doing?

Ruby slowly rose up from the suit cases to look at the person talking to her, and saw a girl with white hair, blue eyes, a scar running down one of her eyes.

Ruby: Uh... Sorry.

???: Sorry, do you have any idea what kind of damage you could have caused... Gimme that, this is Dust mind and purified from the Schnee Quarry.

Ruby: Uh.

???: What are you brain dead? Dust! Fire, Water, Lightning, energy are you even listening.

As she took one out of the many containers and started shaking it around, Ruby looked appeared she was getting close to sneezing.

???: Are you even listening to me? Is any of this sinking in? What do you have to say for yourself?

Instead of speaking, Ruby let out a large sneeze that caused a lot of red dust to explode around the two sending a jar rolling towards another girl who was busy reading a book before they picked it up. They noticed the two girls with one yelling at the other, but they also noticed something else, flashing lights with other lights flying in different directions.

???: Unbelievable, this is exactly the thing that I was talking about.

Ruby: I'm really, really sorry!

???: Ugh, you complete dolt, what are you even doing here? Aren't you a little young to attend Beacon.... HEY ARE YOU PAYING ATTENTION!

Ruby: LOOK OUT!

Turning around she and Ruby had to duck as a blue haired boy went flying over their heads with you following after him.

Y/N: I'M NOT FINISHED WITH YOU YET!
