Chapter Twenty-One: A Grimm Infested City

You and Rider had been riding on the Pegasus for quite a while now and you were wondering how long it was going to take for you guys to get to the city, in fact, you were wondering what the place was like as you didn't really get anything from Yatsuhashi in the other due to being angry. You were also wondering if Cu Chulain and Herald were doing alright as you weren't sure if they were still behind you guys until you looked down and saw an object kicking up a large amount of dust which had to have been Herald using his semblance.

Y/N: Geez... How far is this place... I mean seriously we've been flying for what felt like an eternity!

Rider: We should be there in less than 20 minutes now as the place is about an hour or so journey unless I'm wrong and we're heading in the wrong direction.

Y/N: Oh... Well, I guess it can't be helped... It's better than just sitting back and doing nothing while a friend of ours is in trouble.

Rider: Hey... Y/N... There's something I needed to know...

Y/N: Sure what's up?

Rider's Thoughts: Should I tell him... n-n-no... Not yet... Let me think of something else to ask him...

Rider: Um... How strong would you say this Gilgamesh person is?

Y/N: Oh... Well, I don't want to say this out loud but I'm not too sure if I'll be able to beat him on my own... With his ridiculous semblance, he was able to hurl multiple weapons at me. Then he had this one weapon which was able to break through most of my Rho Ais with ease.

Rider: What did this weapon look like?

Y/N: It kind of looked like a sword that was meant to beat the sense out of people in my opinion. It didn't look like it was made for stabbing or cutting down your opponents like either mine or Herald's weapon, but it was powerful enough to launch some kind of energy projectile.

Hearing this the stone turner was starting to get a little worried now if this Gilgamesh was strong enough to take on someone like you without breaking a sweat then it was going to have to probably take all of their abilities to beat him. She hoped Velvet was alright with someone like him, from the way you reacted from hearing his name he was obviously bad news.

Y/N: So... Do you think we'll be able to beat this guy together? Uh... Rider? Rider?

You noticed she had gotten quiet, you wondered if you had done something wrong now. You thought about saying something else but felt Cascalla start to descend down towards the ground. This caused you to wonder why before you looked on ahead and saw what appeared to be quite a large city. You noticed something that caused you to worry though as a lot of the buildings there were destroyed. Some looked like they were smashed by something, others like something took a huge bite out of it and others... You couldn't even explain it because they looked like something had burned them.

Y/N: Oh my gosh... Whatever hit that place showed no signs of mercy.

After a few more minutes of flying Cascalla finally landed on the ground trotting to a stop, close enough for them to get a good a look at the place. Hearing loud steps coming your way, you and Rider turned around to see Herald and Cu Chulain. Herald turning his semblance off before running behind a tree to hurl, Cu Chulain kneeled beside his friend and rubbed his back.

Cu Chulain: Don't worry this happens a lot when he uses his semblance for so long.

Rider: Thank you Cascalla... If I need you again, I shall call you understand.

The pegasus whined for a few moments before it turned from its master took off running before flying into the sky disappearing behind the clouds. Looking at the pegasus leave caused you to wonder where it went but shook the thought out as the four of you had a mission to get started.
