Chapter Twenty-Six: Victories in Different Ways

You were heading towards the arena to see your cousin's team get prepared for their battle, you had heard from Artoria previously that her team had won and they were heading to the next round. She had also told you that she and Siegfried would the two be competing and for your team it was going to be you and Herald to be in the next round. Though how it was decided was quite hilarious though.

~Flashback~

Herald: Uh... Uh... Uh... I don't know who should go with me to the next round I'm sorry!

Cu Chulain: What Herald are you dumb it's obvious I should go, with you and me on the field there's no way we'd lose.

Y/N: Hello, you can only battle from close up if you haven't noticed I can attack from long range and from close range. I can even summon swords... Even though I will admit Shirou is a lot better at that than I am but still.

Rider: I believe it would be best for the team if you chose Y/N Herald like he said Cu Chulain can only use Gae Bolg from close up, even if he throws it there's a good chance his opponents will be able to dodge leaving him wide open. Y/N, on the other hand, can create more swords using his aura and semblance abilities, I have also seen him create swords out of thin air and use as projectiles.

Y/N: Oh really you saw me use that while training?

Rider: Yes... I remember you saying Trace On and five swords appeared around you.

Cu Chulain: No... No, no, no, no, no, no, no.

Y/N: Cu just accept the fact that I'm better for this job than you are?

Cu Chulain: No way I am not going to accept this, how about a bet before we go see your friend and cousin's battle in 50 minutes?

Y/N: Um... Okay, what do you recommend?

Seeing this Cu Chulain had a grin on his face now a diabolical grin now as the idea was coming to his mind in full circles now.

~10 Minutes Later~

Y/N: Dude I am telling you for the ninth time you are going to drown.

Cu Chulain: And I'm telling YOU about the bet. The one to get out of this straitjacket while underwater the fastest is the winner and will be Herald's teammate.

Rider: Where did he even get the dunking booth from?

Y/N: I'm more curious about why he keeps a straitjacket with him.

Herald's Thoughts: Oh this is not gonna well.

Cu Chulain: Rider flip the switch now!

Hearing this the stone charmer sighed before flipping a switch, Cu Chulain literally tumbled into the large booth with a large lid closing behind him. The three of you watched as he struggled in the straitjacket his eyes were glowing with aura as he was trying his hardest to break free from it. You were watching with wonder and Herald was eating a bag of popcorn while watching and Rider was too busy reading her book while also blushing.

~5 Minutes Later~

Y/N: Um guys... I think we should let him out.

Rider: Why's that?

Y/N: He stopped moving.

Looking at your blue-haired teammate you noticed he indeed stopped moving causing you all worry Herald quickly grabbed one of his weapons and smashed the thing open, the water along with Cu Chulain came tumbling out. The brown-haired leader shook his friend only to notice he was breathing now, quickly taking the jacket off him and noticed he was still not breathing.
