Chapter Thirty: Time to Cut Loose

Y/N: Time to finally beat you Artoria!

You gripped Kansho and Bakuya in your hands that they glowed brightly with power before they transformed into their Overedge forms, seeing this Artoria gripped her sword tightly before you saw with your shock the entire thing disappeared.

Your Thoughts: What in the--

You saw the blonde-haired girl swing at you with nothing in her hand but something told you to move fast as you did you felt the wind as if something was swung near your head. Seeing Artoria coming at you once again you concentrated your aura in your eyes and that's when you could see the faint outline of her sword.

Your Thoughts: Okay.... When in the World of Remnant did she learn that?

You didn't have much time to think anymore as you saw her swinging it at you again, you easily parried the attacks with your blades before leaping back trying to get some distance when she appeared in front of you once again. This time knocking you towards the rock area with the blunt side of her sword, you didn't expect to get sent flying into the air from this but you went airborne and crashed into a rock wall with a thud. 

Looking up you saw the invisible blade in front of your face with Artoria as well, a scornful look upon her face as she could tell you weren't fighting serious which caused you to get worried now.

~Meanwhile~

Herald landed on one of the only platforms of the water area of the arena looking in front of him he saw Siegfried running at him at amazing speeds before he had launched himself at the dragon Faunus as well. Their weapons clashed knocking water into the air as Siegfried swung Balmung trying to parry all of Herald's attacks but gasped when he saw one of the weapons coming towards his head, spreading and enlarging his wings he launched himself into the air.

Seeing this Herald leaped into the sky as well after him, the brown-haired leader shot above causing to gasp before shielding himself with Balmung as Herald slammed his weapons down against him knocking him down into the water fast. With a loud splash, Siegfried vanished into the large depths, seeing this Herald noted the water was a lot deeper than in the other matches why was that?

Herald: At least I stopped him from being able to fly now, his wings should be too wet to--WHOA!!!

Herald couldn't finish as the knight had shot out of the water fast his wings completely fine as he elbowed Herald in the stomach before kicking him down righting himself up in the air Herald landed on one of the platforms before looking for Siegfried but noticed he was gone. Looking around for him he didn't anticipate getting knocked sideways before up into the air again dropping his ax-swords in the process. Siegfried was flying around the place fast and knocking Herald around before grabbing him by his leg and proceeded to spin him around with a mighty shout he flung Herald away in the distance towards the fire area before going after him.

Siegfried's Thoughts: I can't take this guy lightly, but with his weapons out of reach that should have dwarfed his powers in some way, but I can tell he's not trying right now. And Artoria... I wonder how she's holding up against Y/N.

~Meanwhile~

You kicked Artoria before running at her at full speed coming at her with Kansho and Bakuya wildly causing her now go on the defensive for once, due to you using two light swords you were able to easily come at her like this. Artoria was trying to read your attack patterns when you disappeared front sight turning around expecting to see you come flying at her with your swords she gasped seeing a glowing coming at her.

She knocked the first one away but the other fourth sent her crashing into the back of a wall looking over she saw you leaped into the air before summoning another arrow before you fired it. Seeing her deflect them caused you to smirk before you preceded to fire three at once causing her to block them again but leap away from the other two.
