Chapter Twenty-Five: Short Little Suprise

The sound of screaming could be heard as Herald had smacked the remainder of their opponents off of the stadium, all four of them hitting the invisible barrier quite hard before sliding down it. The Vytal Festival had finally started up and everyone seemed quite pumped about it too as teams from all across Remnant had come to either watch or participate. And right now you guys just one your first match of round one against a team known as team RRRV(Rave).

Professor Port: And with the remainder of team RRRV out, it looks like team BRAC is moving on to the next round.

Hearing this caused lots of people around to start cheering and hearing this caused you and the others of team BRAC to smile from this. This seemed like it was going to be a pretty decent competition meeting new people battling against new opponents and the fact that you were going to be meeting your cousin and his team soon. You planned on meeting up with them later after you had finished your match.

~Fifty Minutes Later~

Herald: Man... That was quite a workout against those guys!

Y/N: I know... They were pretty tough until we figured out a way to throw their rhythm off.

Cu Chulain: Humph, I almost had one them if that fire geyser didn't erupt!

Hearing this caused you to chuckle from watching Cu Chulain got burned by the fire geyser resulting in him being the first of their team to be eliminated.

~Flashback~

Cu Chulain was going after one of the opponents of team RRRV, they were using a crossbow as their weapon and he was deflecting all of the arrows that were being fired in his direction before leaping into the air and coming down upon them. He quickly kicked them away causing them to skid onto the fire area of the battlefield, one being rocks and the other being fire. 

Cu Chulain: Nowhere to run now, time to put an end to this--Huh?

The blue haired spear user noticed the ground below him was glowing orange before he looked over and saw his opponent smirking, this made Cu Chulain realize he was being lured into a trap.

Cu Chulain: YOU SON OF A B--

Before he could finish a large geyser of fire erupted around him, everyone stopped to watch as to see what had happened when they saw Cu Chulain now on the ground covered in burn marks and soot with his eyes being completely blank. 

You and your opponent saw this and stopped to wonder if he was still alive from that due to the amount of fire that erupted from the geyser. But on the inside, you were trying so hard not to burst into uncontrollable fits of laughter from what you just saw. Looking up at the screen you noticed Cu Chulain's screen turned black along with his aura levels showing he was out.

~Flashback Over~

You couldn't handle it anymore and burst into a laughter causing Cu Chulain to glare at you hatefully from this.

Cu Chulain: There was nothing funny about what happened to me!

Y/N: No, no, no, it wasn't funny... IT WAS HILARIOUS!!!!

Cu Chulain growled hearing this preparing to use Gae Bolg when you guys noticed team RWBY was coming this way.

Ruby: Hey guys... We saw your match earlier.

Yang: Gotta say I was impressed by you guys... Well... Almost all of you *looks at Cu Chulain*

Cu Chulain: How was I supposed to know there was a geyser over there?
