Chapter Forty-Three: Criticizing a Raven

You slowly looked at the man who held a sword at you, you were thinking about summoning your weapons or using Unlimited Bladeworks but remembered that Qrow was a trained huntsman so he probably wouldn't give you the chance to even do it.

Qrow: So, are you just going to stand there saying nothing or are you going to speak.

Y/N: Could you remove your weapon away from me please.

Putting the sword away, the drunk stared at you as you turned to face him, noticing he was taking his flask out you sighed seeing this but got prepared to talk.

Y/N: Alright Qrow, I want to know why exactly you're following us?

Qrow: Alright I'll explain it.

Y/N: Come on man if you don't start.... Wait come again?

Qrow: I'll explain as to why I'm following you guys, but you have to not tell Ruby or the others yet... In fact there's something else I have to do as well, the town you guys are heading to next has a little bar nearby, I'm going to be there. And I want you to meet me there as there is someone there with upmost importance with information.

Y/N: Okay, so why are exactly are you--

Qrow: Because out of everyone in the group you're in besides Ren, you seem to be the best at keeping secrets.

Y/N: Okay.

Qrow: Also don't tell Ruby you were talking to me okay?

You put a thumb up and walked off not before looking back at Qrow only to see him gone and replaced with a black bird flying into the sky.

Your Thoughts: Wait.... Can he..... Nah.

You sprinted off in an attempt to catch up to the others knowing full well they were probably wondering as to what is taking you so long. After a couple seconds you could see the gang walking through the woods when they stopped to see you catching your breath.

Y/N: Sorry for taking so long guys.

Herald: Yeah, I was wondering why it was taking you so long, you didn't even drink that much today.

Y/N: Sorry but I'm okay now so let's get going now, our next destination isn't just waiting for us.

You walked past everyone with the others looking at your strangely before following, you had been walking for what could be considered more hours of endless walking when you guys stopped to take a break. Then walked the rest of the way till you guys saw a town up ahead.

Cu Chulain: Finally... No more walking through the woods thank the gods.

Herald: Yes, a nice comfy, fluffy, soft, cozy... Other words that describe a bed.

Y/N: Well first we're gonna have to see if there's a hotel or something here and check in.

Ren: There should be one around here, this town is a bit small but it has quite a lot of places, so finding one shouldn't be that hard.

Ruby: Alright team, let's split up and search for--

Shirou: Found it!

Everyone turned to Shirou now, he pointed at a sign that said Motel, looking at this you all sighed with relief and headed off in that direction towards it. While doing so you stopped for a moment looking around the place for a bar, the one that Qrow had mentioned earlier, after a quick looking you saw it.
