Chapter Forty-Five: The Escape

Herald's eyes slowly opened due to the loud banging noise coming from the front door of the room. He could only wonder as to what was the issue. Reaching over without waking Ruby, he saw that it was only 5:30 in the morning much to his confusion. Getting up with waking the scythe user, he went over to the door and opened to see Cu Chulain, Jaune, Nora, and Ren standing there with worried expressions.

Cu Chulain: About freaking time you opened the door!

Herald rubbed the sleep out of his eyes and stared at them.

Herald (Tired): You guys do know what time it is right?

Jaune: This is more important than that right now, Y/N and Shirou are missing.

Herald (Awake): WHAT!

The sudden outburst immediately awoke Ruby, said girl rubbed her eyes and noticed everyone in the room now. Getting out of bed and stretching she asked the crew as to what had happened.

Herald: Y/N and Shirou are gone, did they get up early or something?

Ren: No, we checked their rooms and they empty, they didn't even unpack their belongings. I get the feeling something bad may have happened to them.

Cu Chulain thought about it for a moment trying to contemplate as to where you and Shirou had vanished too. Coming up with few ideas. The Caster assumed that maybe they had headed off to the next town before them. But that was a small chance. He could only hope that the two of you were okay, wherever the two of you are now.

~Branwen Tribe~

You, Shirou, and Kojiro had been thinking of ways to escape without causing too much of a scene. You had thought of using Unlimited Blade Works to maybe somehow get the cage open without alerting the tribe. Shirou thought of using his new technique he had learned while on the way to Mistral.

Y/N: Yeah, I don't think using Unlimited Nine Lives is a good idea.

Shirou: Oh and you think using your new Unlimited Blade Works attack will help?

Kojiro: I could try using Tsubame Gaeshi without a sword, but I don't think my hands can cut through things. And I do not believe I can use any swords the two of you can make. If only that girl did not take away my blade.

Thinking about Vernal, you were a little mad with the fact that she knocked you, even though it was kind of your fault for tempting her on like that but still. But then, that was when something clicked in your mind. It was crazy, but it had a good chance of working in the end. And it involved Vernal and Kojiro.

Y/N: Guys listen up, I have an idea on getting us out of here, and it involves Kojiro.

Shirou and Kojiro looked at you with confusion, when Shirou's eyes widened while Kojiro's expression to one of interest.

Shirou: Are you serious Y/N, there is absolutely, positively no way, no way on this planet or Wattpad story, that Kojiro will--

Kojiro: I'll see what I can do.

Shirou: Okay never mind then . . . . dare I ask what this plan of yours is?

You smirked knowing your cousin wouldn't understand what you had planned out for his friend.

Y/N: Simple, we just need Kojiro to seduce Vernal for a while, make sure that she is extremely tired after they go at it, then when everyone else is asleep and out of it. Kojiro will find the key to this cage and get us out of here. Then we find civilization, find out where Herald and the others are and head back to them.
