Chapter Thirty-Three: Problems

You and Shirou couldn't believe that Ruby was here at the moment, at the moment it was too dangerous for anyone to be here let alone Ruby. You can tell that Ruby was skilled when it came to using Crescent Rose, but she didn't seem like the type of person to be able to take hits, in fact you wondered if she could even fight without it.

Y/N: Ruby... This is definitely not a good time to be here!

Shirou: Yeah, that knight monstrosity did something to--

Ruby: I know... I heard everything... Have you guys figured out anyway to revert him back?

Shirou: I've got nothing... If Medea was here maybe she could do something with her dagger Rule Breaker.

This caused you to groan from annoyance before you noticed Herald had finally recomposed himself and was now coming but not for you or Shirou this time.

Shirou and You: RUBY LOOK OUT!!!

Hearing the cries the red hooded girl gasp seeing Herald was on her, her body ran cold and fear had taken over her as she watched him with one hand having his weapon in it ready to smash her into the ground. Closing her eyes she let out a terrified scream while shielding herself from the impending doom, but didn't feel anything hit her.

Opening them for a bit she saw that Herald stopped moving once more but was inches from striking her now, his armed arm twitched and struggled to move closer to her but it seemed like some kind of force was stopping him.

Looking into his face she saw his gritted teeth while also seeing the large contents of steam rise from him still.

Ruby: H.... Herald?

Herald:........... Run........ Ruby.......... Get away........

You and Shirou heard this which completely shocked the two of you, especially since you thought Herald couldn't talk while in that form.

Ruby: What.... No.... We need to help you.... Please... Let us--

Herald: NO!!! 

Suddenly dropping his axe sword he clutched his head while roaring out in pain, steam rising from his body from the blood that was leaking from now visible cuts. 

Ruby was attempting to walk closer to see if she could try and do something to at least calm him down, but that when he started swinging his arms around the place. Seeing one of them heading towards you quickly sprung into action.

Quickly pushing the 15-year old out of the way you prepared to dodge only for Herald's other hand to come slamming into your back and knocking you into the ground. You grunted from the blow before having to move from getting your head destroyed by Herald's foot.

Shirou ran towards Herald to see if he could assist in some way only to get backhanded into a tree, the red-haired teen gasped seeing Herald running towards him only to get sidetracked with you getting up and decking him in the face.

Only one problem with this is that your hand was broken now with the bone completely shattered from the blow and it would take a while for it to heal. Just when you were about to leap away Herald grabbed your arm and slammed you on the ground before snapping in two like a twig, this caused you to yelled out in pain from the blow before Herald preceded to slam you on to the ground.

Shirou: Y/N... HERALD THAT'S ENOUGH!!!

Summoning Kansho and Bakuya rushed at Herald and tried stabbing him only for the blades to break on contact, Herald turned around and without thinking used your beaten body as a weapon and smacked Shirou with it knocking him out onto the ground in the process.
