i really want to dye my hair and i've thought about it a lot and i'm serious about wanting to but no matter how much i try to convince him he just won't let me and i don't understand why

his arguments are
"its going to turn you emo" literally what the fuck even is this
"its going to damage your hair and you're not going to like how it looks once it fades" not if you do it right and guess what hair grows back
"your hair is already beautiful and you don't need to change it" bitch ik it is tf??? but there's more than one kind of beautiful so fuck off

i just don't get why its such a big deal to him like i am bored with everything and hardly anything excited me or makes me happy anymore and this is something that does why can't he just let me have this one thing
