Part 23

The next day I was back in work still feeling down as ever. I needed something exciting to

happen to me. I wanted to do something, go somewhere, but I just couldn't think what.

It wasn't until I had a call from my boss to go to his office where everything changed.

My boss had recieved an email from a top Modelling Agency saying they spotted me working

at an event recentley and thought I had the perfect figure and looks to become a natural Model.

They asked my boss if he could see if I was interested and then they would make some sort of deal

so the company I currently worked for didn't lose out if I accepted the offer.

I sat listening to my boss, wide eyed, not really sure how to take it all in.

I had never classed myself as the Model type. 

I had always been really selfconcious about myself and my looks. I was so insecure.

But to be given the opportunity to become a Model was just crazy! 

Maybe this was the new start I needed? Something to make my life more exciting?

All of it was sounding so great until I heard the word America!

"They are an American based company (yourname), which would obviously mean moving, but it's a great

opportunity and I don't think you should pass it by because of the move"

My wide eyed expression suddenly turned to shock and worry.

I loved England! I had everything here.

Friends, Family. My home.

I didn't want to just give it all up and leave.

"So will you think about it yes?"

I suddenly jumped out of my thoughts and nodded my head, trying to force the biggest smile on my

face as I could to cover my shock.

I walked back down the corridor and into Stacey's office and began to explain everything to her.

"You need to go for it (yourname)!!"

"Do you think?" I asked confused.

"OMG! YES! You can't turn something like this down. I mean yeah, obviously we will all miss you, and

you will miss everything here, but this is amazing for you! Your gorgeous and would be perfect for the 

Job"

"But..."

"(yourname), Think about it seriously. You were just saying earlier how much you want a change, this is it!

It's your change!"

The rest of the day at work went pretty quick, i just kept running the thoughts through my head about

the job.

I went home and told Danielle. She seemed pretty pleased for me too. 

I was also going to tell Aston tonight as he had called and asked if I wanted to go Nandos with him and the

boys. But little did I know, how hard I was going to find it....
