Logan was a very curious person. Which was obvious, if he wasn't curious why would he know a lot of the things he did? He enjoyed learning, so he tried to learn more everyday.

One thing he had recently become interested in was sword fighting. He already knew quite a bit about it, but all of the things he knew came from research. His research on the subject could only teach him so much, and he knew that if he truly wanted to learn how to sword fight, he would need experience.

The problem was, the only person Logan could possibly think of to teach him how to sword fight is Roman. It is obvious to all that know them that he and Roman do not get along. Roman's head was always stuck in the clouds, always thinking of impossible situations and unrealistic goals. Logan, on the other hand, was a lot more grounded, coming up with logical plans rather than elaborate silly dreams. It was no surprise that the two of them disagreed often. Still, Logan was curious, and he decided that as long as Roman agreed, he could set aside their differences in order to learn something new.

Logan waited outside the royal's door patiently after knocking, hearing him call that he would be there in a moment. Roman opened up the door, seeming surprised to find Logan there.

"Greetings, nerd. What is it that you need?" Roman questioned, curious as to why Logan would come to him. Logan cleared his throat, looking to the floor and drawing in a breath.

"I came to ask you if you would teach me something." He started, and Roman cut him off.

"What could I possibly teach you that you don't already know?" He asked, and Logan shot him a glare.

"I was about to tell you, before you spoke over me." He frowned, and Roman apologized, gesturing for him to continue. "I have recently become interested in sword fighting. I have done a lot of research on the subject, but I am aware that the best way of learning it is to try it myself. Seeing as you are the only one I know who can use a sword, I figured I would ask you. Although, if you decline I do understand."

Roman hummed, thinking about it for a moment. "I wouldn't mind teaching you." He told Logan, shrugging and smiling. "When would you like to start learning?"

"Any time you are able to teach me."

Logan had met up with Roman on another day that the two had decided on, Logan feeling something he wasn't entirely sure how to explain. He knew he must be excited-he usually was when it came to learning new things, but somehow it felt as thought there were more to it in this case. He had tried to shake it off while on his way to Roman's room, but once the Royal opened the door and he saw him again Logan's heart sped up.

Due to his emotions that he had yet to identify, Logan's first lesson did not go well. He stumbled, and got confused at the simple instructions he was given, being unable to focus. He kept getting lost in thoughts as he watched Roman demonstrating things, and he forgot he was actually supposed to be listening.

Roman assured him that it was alright, and that he wasn't going to become an expert on the first day of learning. Logan's heart once again picked up as Roman told him this, and he nodded, telling him he was looking forward to the next time they would meet. That certainly wasn't a lie. Logan was looking forward to it so much that it seemed to be all he could focus on.

When he finally did get to meet with Roman again he made sure to pay more attention to actually learning, and not just watching him the entire time. He was starting to get some of what he was teaching him, and every time he got something right Roman would compliment him. Logan felt his face grow warm every time Roman mentioned how well he did something.
