Please don't request anything else, I swear I'm working on them but I'm stressed and in a really weird mood right now. I might not update for the rest of the week because of this. Apologies. Warning-anxiety attacks.
Virgil flinched at the loud noise made by Roman. He didn't know what he was doing, but he kept making a loud banging noise. It was really beginning to bother him, both because it was annoying, and because anything too loud made him very anxious.
When another very loud noise sounded Virgil shouted at Roman. "Can you please stop being so loud?"
Roman walked into the room Virgil was in, making the noise again, but louder this time. He was grinning smugly, glad he found something to annoy the other with. Virgil flinched again, and glared at him.
"Seriously, please stop it." He said again. He could tell he was about to start panicking, and was trying not to snap at Roman. Yes, he was being annoying, but Virgil always regretted snapping at people when he got anxious, although he never admitted to it.
Roman ignored him, doing it again and laughing. "What are you going to do if I don't?"
Virgil bit the inside of his lip, as a way of keeping himself from talking back, and also a way to hold back the tears he felt wanting to fall. It was so stupid, he was so stupid, it was only a noise. Why was he panicking? Roman did it once again, and Virgil didn't try to hide his anxiety now, covering his ears up with his hands. He couldn't breathe, and he felt like he was going to cry.
Roman started to realize what was wrong now, and immediately felt guilty. He didn't realize the loud sound would bother him this much, but he should have stopped when he asked the first time. He didn't even ask rudely-Roman was being the rude one.
Dropping what he was doing Roman approached Virgil, putting a hand on his shoulder gently. Virgil jerked away, glaring up at him with tears in his eyes. One fell, followed by two more, then three. They kept coming, and he turned away from Roman, embarrassed that he had to see him like this. "Please, just go away."
"I... am sorry, Virgil." Roman apologized, staring at the floor. "I didn't realize it was bothering you that much, but I should have stopped the first time you asked."
He hesitated, not knowing if Virgil wanted help or if he wanted to be left alone. He didn't want to make things worse, but he didn't want to leave him alone either. "Is there... anything I can do to help...?"
Virgil shrugged. He didn't want to talk, and he didn't want to be talked to. He didn't exactly want to be alone, though.
"Do you want me to leave?" He asked. Virgil thought for a minute, and slowly shook his head.
Roman sat in silence for a bit, before speaking again. "Do you want me to be quiet, then?"
Virgil nodded. Roman nodded back, sitting next to Virgil and staying quiet. It seemed awkward, just sitting and not saying anything, and Roman didn't really think he was helping at all, but Virgil appreciated just having someone there.
After a few minutes of sitting in silence, Virgil trying to keep his breathing under control and attempting to stop more tears from falling, wiping at his eyes every few minutes and sniffling, he had been able to somewhat calm down. Without saying anything he leaned against Roman, his head resting on his shoulder tiredly and awkwardly.
Roman wrapped an arm around him, silently letting him know it was okay to lay on him. Virgil sighed, pressing himself against Roman and wrapping his arms around him, closing his eyes. Roman held onto him, finding himself smiling slightly at how cuddly the other could be when he was tired.
