Requested. I am gonna take a couple more requests, but only a few for right now. How about... the first three requests I get, I will do, and then once those are done we'll see if I take more. I just don't wanna stress myself out more than I already have been. Also for this request I tried to keep the basic idea but I did change a bit, so I hope it was good anyways. ^•^

Virgil hated his birthday. In his opinion, they were pointless. All they did was being you even closer to the day you'd no longer exist. Who wanted to be reminded of that?

Roman, on the other hand, loved birthdays. It didn't even matter if it was his, he just enjoyed celebrating and seeing others happy. So, when he found out that Virgil's birthday was coming up soon he decided he had to do something for it. Especially after he had said he didn't like his birthday. How could someone not like their birthday?

He spent a while contemplating what the perfect thing to do for Virgil's birthday would be, thinking of gift ideas, if he should buy him something or make him something. He was unable to decide for a while, but eventually an idea came to mind. Roman hoped Virgil would appreciate his gift-he wanted him to enjoy his birthday, and look forward to it. Not dread it.

When the day finally came, Roman made sure he was the first to greet Virgil when he woke up (no earlier than 12, of course).

"Good morni-er, afternoon. Happy birthday, emo nightmare." Roman greeted, smiling at Virgil.

"Uh... thanks. Please don't tell me you're going to do something for my birthday, I've already explained to you that I hate it." Virgil frowned, knowing that with Roman, whatever it was would be completely over dramatic.

"Yes yes, one year closer to death. You always say that, but I really believe that birthdays are a thing to be celebrated! No one should feel down on their birthday." Roman explained. "So yes, I did do something for you. Can you please get along with me, just for today? So I can show you that birthdays aren't all that bad?"

Virgil sighed, shaking his head at Roman. "Yeah yeah, I guess. Just, get it over with already."

"Well, to start off your birthday I decided to make you your favorite breakfast food! Unfortunately I... can not cook, so I burnt it, but then Patton helped out and made it himself." Roman explained, taking Virgil's hand and leading him to the kitchen, where a plate of food was set up for him.

"Wow, you... really thought this out, huh?" Virgil looked at the plate, Roman trying to figure out what he was thinking. Did he like what he did? Did he think Roman was being strange? Virgil looked in the opposite direction of Roman, but not before he caught a grin on his face. "Thanks."

"It was not a problem." Roman smiled, happy he had successfully made the beginning of Virgil's birthday good.

After Virgil finished eating his food, Roman insisted that the two of them hang out and did something that made Virgil happy. Roman explained that he, Logan, and Patton planned to give him gifts later, and they would have cake. For the rest of the day leading up to that the two spent time together, talking and laughing, and Roman doing the best he could to make the day feel special for Virgil.

That night, Roman and Virgil joined Patton and Logan to have a party for Virgil. They gave him his gifts (Patton had made his, while Logan just bought something), Roman being the last to give him something.

"So, I have two gifts for you." Roman explained, beginning to feel nervous. "There's uh, this one, and then one for later. When we're by ourselves again." He handed over a box, smiling at Virgil. After he opened it and thanked everyone for the gifts the four of them sang happy birthday and ate cake, watching Virgil's favorite movie.
