Spending Christmas With The Vampires

A while had passed since that incident and finding out that my little brother is still alive. Toby explained to me and the others about how he and Father survived the house fire. The other vampire brothers and the Cobras were all shocked when they learnt that I'm alive. Other than that, I'm glad that I'm alive and back with the people that I love and care for. Yui and I have been starting to get along well but, we do our best to act like bickering sisters like we used to before I told her the truth about why I was a bully to her.

I finally recovered from my injuries and Toby is attending night school and he's in the same year as me, Yui and the Sakamaki triplets. Currently, I was in English class with the triplets, Yui and Toby. I yawned a little as the lecture went on and I heard Yui whisper to me.

"Hang in there a little longer, (Y/n)-chan."

I nodded my head a little and then the teacher said to us.

"And that wraps up this last lesson of the night, all of you have a good Christmas and enjoy your holidays."

Once the lecture ended the bell rang and then all of the students got up and they chatted happily as left the classroom. I took a big stretch and I spoke up.

"Finally, goodbye classes and hello winter holidays."

Yui giggled and so did Toby as he and Kanato came over to us. Toby then said to me.

"Onee-chan, you've always enjoyed the winter holidays, but, our grandparents never let us have any fun when they're around."

I nodded my head as I remembered about the Christmas holidays when our parents were still alive and when our grandparents were around for the holidays as well. Kanato then asked us.

"Really? what did they do to spoil your fun."

"Oh, the usual strict lessons they teach us, '(Y/n)! a proper young lady doesn't do this!' 'Toby! a young gentleman is not obsessed with teddy bears!' blah blah blah!"

Toby, Kanato and Yui laughed at my impressions of grandmother. Toby nodded his head in agreement and he then said to me.

"Hey sis, do you remember the time when Otu-san tried to make the stuffing for the turkey?"

"Hehe, how can I forget? we were both setting the table until we heard an explosion from the kitchen and then the old man came back covered in the Turkey's stuffing."

Kanato and Yui covered their mouths to prevent themselves from laughing. Yui then said to me.

"So how did the two of you spend your Christmas when you were younger?"

I smiled a little and I remembered the Christmas dinners and parties that I had with our parents and with the killer Cobras. I looked back at Yui and I said to her.

"Well, before the day, Toby and I would decorate the mansion and the Christmas tree while Okaa-san was making her famous Christmas cookies and Otu-san was making his usual calls to some of his friends and some out relatives for the Christmas party and that included our bossy Grandmother."

Toby chuckled and he then spoke up.

"Those were the good times we spent together, but that came crashing down when that night happened."

I nodded my head and I then spoke up.

"Yeah but, after the fire and joining the Killer Cobras, we did things a little different, I know was a child back then but, we did our best to give each other some presents but some of the other members ended up getting drunk including on New year's eve and day."
