Chapter Twenty Three

Your heart was pounding very quickly, even Jungkook could feel it. He slowly let's go of you.

You were ready for him to yell at you.

"Are you okay?" He asked. You were shocked that he didn't yell at you. "Y-You're not mad?"

Jungkook chuckled, slowly shaking his head, "I mean..I would be, but..I would've done the same." You slowly placed the dog down and gave Jungkook a tight hug.

His eyes widened. Tears ran down your cheeks, he slowly pats your back. "It's okay...there, there." He said gently. His voice was soothing to your ears.

The others ran towards you and Jungkook. They all stopped when they saw you crying on Jungkook's chest.

"I think it's best if we..leave them for now." Namjoon said, making others nod. Instead of them leaving, they all watched the two.

"I'm so..scared." You said. Jungkook's shirt was wet from all your tears but he didn't get bothered. He understood you.

"I'm here for you," he said. And you believed him. You both slowly let go of each other. Jungkook couldn't help but chuckle, he went closer and wiped your tears off.

You smiled sheepishly, "I'm such a mess." Jungkook smiled and ruffled your hair, "you're my mess." Those words didn't bother you one bit.

"And can your heart stop pounding so much? I get that I'm that handsome that I make girl's hearts flutter." You playfully punched his chest, making him laugh.

You were actually happy that Jungkook was there. Eventually you heard the same bark earlier from the dog you saved.

It ran towards a man on a sleeveless shirt with ripped jeans. You assumed that was the owner.

The man looked happy seeing the dog running towards it. He hugged his dog as the dog licked his face.

You couldn't help but smile at the reunion. It did bother you why the owner just left the dog there..

Everyone had already packed their bags. Taehyung barged into your room, "hey, y/n--" he paused.

You weren't in your room. He went everywhere to look for you. But you weren't seen.

He walked towards his hyungs, "have you guys seen y/n?" He asked. But they all looked at each other and shrugged.

Taehyung decided to give up and head to the van. His eyes widened.

You were fast asleep on Jungkook's shoulder as he was resting his head on yours, asleep as well.

Taehyung froze as the others noticed his reaction and came closer. Their eyes widened as well.

Jimin smiled lightly at the sight of two of you. He felt proud that you two were finally comfortable with each other now. But..maybe not that comfortable.

A minute later, your eyes opened, seeing everyone looking at the two of you.

All their eyes widened and they quickly looked away, pretending to be doing something else.

Jungkook slowly woke up as well, yawning as he stretched. "What did I miss?" He asked.

You and Jungkook remained at the back. All the seating arrangements were still the same.

Although you and Jungkook were now sitting beside each other and Jimin and Tae were sitting on the 2nd row.

Jungkook noticed how uncomfortable you were with the seat. You were moving around, trying to find a more comfortable position.

He suddenly grabbed you and made you rest your head on his shoulder. You couldn't help but feel your face heating up.

Jungkook suddenly smirked, "is it fluttering again?" You slapped his shoulder, making him laugh.

You have to admit though, you missed hearing Jungkook teasing you. It's stupid yet..true.

You ended up falling asleep a few minutes. Jungkook smiled lightly, hearing your silent snores.

He suddenly got a random feeling.

Jungkook slowly rests his head on yours, "am I.."

"Falling for you?"
