//okie so basically:

The boys have little/no control to how their imprints will react when it comes to their emotions.

Due to the hearts being the fanciful, passionate type of cards (in this AU), Torsion/Tory's imprint flares up whenever he's in an enjoying himself or just being promiscuous as most of the time. This also being, if Tory was somehow hurt emotionally, which can cause serious problems.

Spades are kinda based around the same type of thing, but they're kinda more noble, and quiet, and I guess Knightly(?). Therefore their loyalty and friendship is like, top of the charts if it were to happen and defensive when it comes to them being hurt in some way. Which is kinda way Tomas is over-protective of his squad and is mostly fatherly of them- since he grew around that for too long.

Mattie is self-indulgent, and can be really concerned about vale due to how his own imprint is and that being Diamonds- (maybe lowkey likes diamonds and mirrors hey new hc lol) but he is protective of things he owns/claim to own.

Note that Ederek's imprint goes wacky occasionally for some reason and Derek just really keeps to himself his emotions sometimes, both knowledgeable and slightly sensitive.
