Part 43

Chapter 43.

  Turnerfield ran towards Adam, slashing wildly. He wanted to make Adam suffer, to die in pain and agony. It was a small hobby of his. He could be called a sadist but he would never call himself that, or let anyone else.

  Adam dodged his attack. It was a wide swing. He hated it. It was hard to avoid, not because of the swing, but because of the ferocity of the attack. He knew he was going to be killed.

  "You're going to die!" Shouted Turnerfield, as he slashed Adam's chest. He laughed menacingly. He was enjoying it.

  Adam fell backwards as the sword cut him. It was just a small cut, nothing serious, but he was bleeding fairly heavily. He cursed his luck. He didn't get cut too deeply but it it was large enough for blood to spill out. He knew he had to finish this as fast as possible. He had to sort out his injury, without making it get any worse. Or getting any other injuries.

  He rushed towards Turnerfield and thrust his knife forward, but tripped over. He fell to the ground and hurt his chest. He screamed in pain. It was not looking good for him.

  Turnerfield smiled, a devious smile, and walked towards Adam. As he stood next to him, he stomped his foot upon Adam's back and injured him.

  Adam screamed out in pain. He was in agony. The worst he had ever been in. But it was worth it. He was going to save Luna and, in a twisted way, he thought he deserved it. After all, he was the one who got her people killed by being here. He had to be punished for what he felt were his "crimes".

  He looked up and saw Turnerfield's eyes. They were dark, angry, but filled with a certain kind of joy. It made him sick. He grabbed his knife and, quickly, stabbed it into Turnerfield's ankle. Turnerfield leapt back in pain. Adam saw his moment and swiftly rushed up and stabbed his opponent in the chest and into his heart.

  "Game over, man. Sorry." Spoke Adam, as he pushed his enemy down. He walked way slowly. On his way to find Luna.
