Talking Through Time

Part 50

Chapter 50.

 Adam glanced at the villagers. They were all wandering around the village, trying to find him. They searched in houses and down different tunnels.  Many of them had weapons.

  "Well this could be a problem." Thought Adam, as he punched the ground. He was a little bit frustrated at this new situation. He had to find a way to get through this area, without himself or Luna getting harmed. 

  Luna looked climbed down from his back and looked around. She became scared of the villagers wandering around. She thought that, at any moment, the villagers would find them and kill them. She looked up at Adam. He looked braver than she ever did.  Looking down at the floor, she wondered. Why had she never been very brave? Was it her lifestyle? or was it because of how she was raised. She stood there in thought. What seemed like forever, but was really only a minute, she nodded to herself. She was going to be braver, and she had an idea.

  "Let's sneak around them. We'll get out faster that way." She whispered, her voice filled with confidence. Her eyes were fairly bright as well, and her body posture was filled certainty and hope.

  Adam looked at her, "Do you think that's the best plan?" He asked her, she nodded, "Ok. let's go. Follow me." He crouched down and ran as softly as he could behind some rocks, making sure not to be seen. Luna followed. They did this a few more times until they got to the cave entrance. The one they had originally found. Adam sighed with relief.

  "Ok, Luna, i want you to go back up through the hole and run. Go back to your home and don't leave. Not until i come back. Do not let anyone in or out." He was telling her exactly what he wanted her to do. Her safety was important.

  Luna climbed up, but stopped half way up and she turned around and looked at Adam, "But, what are you going to do?" She asked him.

  "I'm going back to take down their leader. He needs to be stopped and taught a lesson." He spoke with confidence, he was the one who had to.

  Luna simply nodded, "Be careful!" She shouted, as she ran to her home. Adam ran back to the village. And began to come up with some kind of plan.
