~ School Fest

Two weeks pa lang ang ipinapasok namin, irregular na naman ang klase. We need to prepare for our school fest and that would be next month. All colleges are eagerly preparing for their booths. Maraming booths kapag ganitong panahon sa school.
May mga ride booths, horror booths, dedication booths, food and drink booths, souvenir booths, dating booths, marriage booths, kissing booths na PG-13 (meaning sa noo at pisngi lamang) and of course, music booths.
At syempre, dahil sa business ad students kami, our dean is expecting that our booths will be prepared and made strategically. Dapat lahat plantsado, walang sabit. We actually have two booths in our college. Meron kaming food and drink booth, at music booth.
Sa music booth kasali ang section namin. Mukha kaming nasa isang prestigious restaurant – ‘yan ang ambiance ng 2 in 1 booths namin. Habang may kumakanta, may mga foods and drinks din na pwedeng ma-order. And unlike other music booths, ours is schoolwide. Dinig siya ng buong campus since connected siya sa official radio station ng campus. Malakas yata ako sa DJ ng aming campus radio. Hahahaha!
“Ui, Daniella,” tawag sa akin ni Matt.
I didn’t reply. Tinaasan ko lang siya ng kilay.
“Gustung-gusto ko talagang pumunta sa kissing booth at mag-apply na kisser dun,” sabi ni Matt na para bang sobrang excited.
“Eh di pumunta ka at mag-apply dun,” nayayamot kong sagot sa kanya.
“May isa nga lang problema,” parang nalungkot niyang sambit.
Hindi naman ako sumagot. Nakatingin lang ako sa kanya.
“Ikaw lang kasi ang gusto kong customer,” and I saw him with his full smile, yung ngiti na mukhang nakakaloko.
Then I suddenly noticed na nakaagaw-pansin na pala kami at nakatingin na sa aming dalawa ang mga kaklase namin.
Hindi na naman natuloy ang pang-aasar ng mga kaklase namin kasi dumating na si Ma’am Domniguez. Si Phillip naman ay bahagya akong siniko.
I mouthed, “What?”
He just shrugged his shoulders, humarap na sa unahan habang nangingiti-ngiti. If I know, nang-aasar na naman yun. Naman kasi itong si Matt! Argghhh! Ayaw paawat!
“Alright, class,” bungad ni Ma’am Dominguez. “Eto na ‘yung list of names ng bahala sa instrumental at background music natin...”
Ma’am Dominguez continued reading her list of participants ng section namin. Hindi naman ako kasali sa musical part eh. I prefer the food and drink stuffs.
