>>>DANIELLA’S POV
Matapos lumabas ni Mommy ng kwarto, humiga ulit ako sa kama.
At ewan ko ba.
Parang sumakit ang ulo ko sa sinabi ni Mommy.
“We might have never told you about our story... your dad and I, I mean... But we didn’t marry just because your grandparents wanted us to. We got married because we wanted it too... Because we loved each other. I also want the same for you. Kahit pa ganito ang estado natin, I want you to marry for love. Our business comes only in second place.”
Love.
Pag-ibig.
Haist!
Nakatingin lang ako sa kisame nang biglang tumunog ang phone ko.
I got a text message from Matt.
“Nabasa mo na ba ‘yung article?”
“Yes.” I replied.
“Don’t we look cute together? =)”
I was about to send him another message when my phone suddenly rang.
It’s the same person I was texting to.
“Why?”
Oo, yan ang bungad ko sa kanya. Hindi “hello” o kung ano pa man. Hahaha!
“You still owe me a date.”
“I know.”
“So we’re going on a date now.”
“Now?”
Teka! Bakit ba parang puro one word lang ang reply ko sa kanya?
“Yes. I’ll pick you up after an hour. Would that be okay with you?”
“I’m....” Tsss! Ano ba naman itong si Matt? Ni hindi pa nga ako bumabangon sa kama.
“I’ll make it two hours kung di ka pa tapos mag-ayos nun.”
