We Need Each Other

Lisa's POV
"What are we making?" I ask Katherine only now realizing that I'm making the food.
"Hand me a bowl." I listen handing her a big mixing bowl.
"We are making pasta and we want to have some leftovers so Dani and Lauren can have some for dinner." I nod taking the pasta noodles out of the pantry. I get a big bowl and start to fill it up with water and drop it heavily in the sink. Katherine and I both jump and I chuckle nervously. The bowl broke and I start picking up the shards of glass.

Katherine's POV
I know Lisa's injury seems the lightest but by the sadness clouding her eyes it is burdening her more than she shows. I set the bowl on the counter it being about head height. I observe Lisa noticing a cut along her palm but I let her finish before saying anything.
"Lisa you're bleeding." She stares at her hand like it is not connected to her body as tears well up in her brown eyes.

Amy's POV
I hear a loud bang and jump my height. Christina stumbles with my movement so I guide her like a Border Collie to the couch.
"What was that?" She asks a hint if timidness not usually found in her voice.
"I don't know I'll check the kitchen." I decide knowing that is where my older sisters went.

Christina's POV
I sit on the couch feeling like I'm swimming through a sea of darkness. I think I'm on the couch at least. I feel so helpless, I only snapped at Amy about Lauren and Dani because they are out in public living what seems like a normal life. When Amy pointed out the troubles the two are probably having I retreated my thought. They might look the best out of all of us but they were thrown in the deep end.

Dani's POV
"So you guys only got to school yesterday but you happen to somehow get in school suspension. Tell me the story." The person straddles the chair in front of me and I shoot Lauren a pleading glance. She shrugs and the person turns back to Lauren a puzzled expression on his face.
"You both are very beautiful." The person comments but I don't want his hands on me or Lauren. I think Lauren would probably get in more trouble if that happened, if she responded like the Lauren I used to know she would be calm and collected. This Lauren seems terrified.

Lauren's POV
I try to read this persons crystal blue eyes and they have a jokesters gleam, like Dani when she wants to prank one of our sisters. The person I think calls me beautiful so I guess that's a plus.
Dani slowly mouths to me, "He wants to know why we are here."
"I punched someone." I think about the words really hoping that I pronounced them at least close to correctly. He nods seeming pleased with this answer. I keep my face turned towards him eyes at Dani.
