The Six Missing Parts

High Road

Dani's POV
"Dan, we forgot something really important." Lauren points to the car and I realize, keys.

"The losers need to call their mommy for help." Danielson passes us as I call Lisa.

I'm shoved into the car luckily no where I'm injured but Lauren doubles over in pain as the same action happens to her.

I shove the phone into Lauren's hand ready to stand up for myself.

"What is your problem?"

Lauren's POV
"Guard dog you are staying here." I roll my eyes at the nickname they gave me.

I guess they probably don't even know my real name, but while 'Guard Dog' is demeaning there are worse things to be called.

I'm so freaking happy my sisters and I took self defense classes.

Even though I don't think I can stand up straight, I still manage to get out of the person's grasp as I bend their wrist back.

"Ow, ow, ow." They mumble in pain.

Lisa's POV
I strain to hear through the phone as Dani called me for some reason but as soon as I hear a sound of pain I pick up the keys.

My eyes flick to the left where Dani and Lauren's car keys lay.

I'm guessing that's the reason they called me.

"Lise, where are you going?" Amy asks.

"Dani and Lauren forgot their keys." I hold up the second pair.

"Can I come with?" She asks her pleading smile melting my heart.

"Of course Ames." Her smile grows bigger which is exactly what I wanted.

Amy's POV
What we drive up to was not what I was expecting.

I was expecting two lonely and impatient girls.

"Sorry." Dani looks up at us wincing.

"Where's Lauren?" I ask because those two girls are inseparable.

Dani points to the other side of the parking lot.

Lisa's POV
"Ladybug?" I ask Lauren as she is curled up in a ball sitting on a baseball bench.

"Can you look at me?" I ask again and she doesn't answer me staying in her protective spot.

I sit next to her and see the entirely stained back of her shirt.

This worries me because a lot of blood is on her shirt not in her body, where it should be.

Lauren does something surprising she just starts sobbing.

I wrap her into an attempt at a light hug.

Amy's POV
"What happened?" I ask Dani sitting next to her carefully.

"I was part of a one sided fight and Lauren wasn't very happy that she wasn't involved in it."

"I'm guessing the other person wasn't injured." Dani nods making me proud but sad at the same time.

She took the high road but still got hurt.
