Amy's POV
I whisper to Katherine easily now that she is a little shorter than me."They don't want him to know right?" I ask motioning my eyes to Dani and Lauren.
"I thought Christina had told all the teachers though." Katherine tells me back and I nod remembering that Katherine had punched in the numbers while Christina talked.
Lauren's POV
What to do? What to do? I think to myself because seeing Dani vulnerable makes me as miserable as the sad donkey, Eeyore, from Winnie the Pooh. I don't want to get us into more trouble and right now I feel like I'm in a mine field but unable to detect the bombs. Christina has it worse not being able to see but I cannot figure out how to help Dani without getting us in trouble.Lisa's POV
"So what did they do?" I ask the red faced teacher and he points to Lauren."She told me to stop yelling because they were passing notes being disrespectful in my class." The two actual "criminals" aren't paying attention during this conversation Dani is curled up in a protective ball and Lauren is staring at her.
"So delinquents?" I ask and he nods.
"I want them kicked out of my class." Christina rubs her temples probably desperately trying to understand this.
Katherine's POV
"Ummm." I start staring at the girl currently part of an in school suspension. "What class is this?" I ask wondering how hard it could be."I was in the middle of an English lecture." Makes sense why Lauren probably wasn't paying attention and Dani must have been asking her why.
"What was on the note?" Christina asks which is a quality question as the blood rushes out of the teachers face.
"I don't know probably something immature and demeaning." I laugh slightly because even if these two are going off the rail they would never do that.
Dani's POV
I sniffle as the girls keep asking questions. We were being disrespectful but we weren't talking in class, obviously. I feel Lauren's hand set on my left hand taking it off my knees. I glance over as her and see it wielding a frown of depression."I'm sorry." Lauren whispers and it is laced with pure sadness. She really doesn't know what happened but her response was fair if she did.
Christina's POV
I listen to the entire conversation not understanding what they did wrong. Maybe they weren't listening but Lauren literally cannot listen. It feels like the world has turned around with Lisa against the girls and me sympathizing with them."Sorry that your lectures didn't capture our siblings attentions but kicking them out of your class after the first offense is unrealistic." I put all of my thoughts together and get an angered answer.
"Maybe they get their defiance from you." I feel a hand on my chest, not harsh but not welcoming, "Because in the world there are rules which you must have set a bad example for them."
I clench my teeth, "Shut up and step away."
