"It's going to rain," I looked up to the sky with a look of dread.
"How do you know? It isn't cloudy in the least bit." Cas raised an eyebrow.
"Rain dance I preformed this morning was the best one yet. Plus the weather app is really helpful."
"Of course," Cas laughed to himself. "Here's the spell for Sullivan."
He handed me a piece of paper, and I examined it for a bit.
"Ah, Latin." I knew the language well by now since I spent all that time researching lore in the past couple of years.
"Actually, it's enochian."
"Same difference," I sniffed and cleared my throat.
"No not—" But I cut him off by reading the spell out loud. When I looked up to see what the spell would do, I couldn't find Sullivan.
Instead, where he used to be was a silky ribbon of dense light blue fog that twisted through the air as if preforming a choreographed dance and aimed for the obviously too small bottle in my hand, somehow cramming inside of it.
I watched the whole thing with parted lips like an idiot.
"No way," Kevin breathed, jogging over to Cas and I with Sam and Dean behind him. Kevin's hair was clamped to his face with sweat, Dean's chest was heaving and his face was shiny, and Sam already had sweat stains on several parts of his shirt.
"That's so weird," Sam said, watching the bottle just as closely as everyone else was.
"I don't like it, it's not enough breathing space for him," Dean muttered. Looks like Sullivan had won him over. I offered Dean the bottle because he looked like he was itching to hold it himself.
"Don't ever take this off," Cas said warningly, taking the necklace from Dean. It was glowing a faint blue.
"Whatever," I mumbled, and let Cas put the necklace around my head.

"We need to get going," Dean said, closing his laptop.
I whimpered in my seat. "Dean...I didn't take off my necklace once, not even once ever since the demon attack."
"Wow, you managed to keep a necklace on for a day," he told me flatly. "Let's go."
He scheduled an appointment for me at the tattoo parlor at noon. It was eleven thirty and I was sort of running out of time to convince him otherwise.
I decided to take a stance. "No." I shrugged and crossed my arms.
He didn't even look at me. "If you don't get up right now, I'm buying a cheap gun online and doing it myself."
"You can't pin me down."
"I'll drug you."
"Look, I really don' think this is necessary—"
"I'm in the car." He took his jacket without another word and left. I scowled to myself and started chewing on my lip.
I wasn't going to get a tattoo. I don't care.

"Alright, alright! Just wait a freaking second!" I shouted at the overweight pierced man with a green beard and a tattoo gun. I took a deep breath and closed my eyes.
"Hey miss you really need to hurry up, I got a schedule."
I glared at him with so much hate then I said, "Okay go." He leaned over me.
"WAIT!"
"Oh for the love of Mary," he sighed heavily, sweat forming on his forehead now. "I'm getting your boyfriend." When he came back through the curtain, a very annoyed Dean was with him.
"Are you kidding me?" he demanded. "Just let the man do his job."
My lip was quivering slightly. "Fine," I scowled. "Just wash your hands again." The tattoo artist looked like he wanted to stab me with the tattoo gun. Dean smiled sheepishly at him and handed him a ten.
He gave me the death glare when the tattoo man turned to scrub his hands for the fourth time. I returned it.
The tattoo artist leaned over me again but when the tattoo gun was just a centimeter away from touching my skin, "HOLD. ON." I suddenly shouted, accidentally grabbing his wrist too hard.
He screamed. "Motherf—"

Dean was still laughing when he pulled the car into the garage.
I was clutching my hand tightly to my chest and sitting at the far end of the seat, blinking tears out of my eyes.
He burst into a whole new fit of laughter when he caught sight of me.
Before the car even came to a stop, I yanked the door open and slammed the door shut.
"Hold on!" he called. "I'm sorry! Okay, that's it, I'm sorry." But he never stopped and his laughter echoed throughout the garage behind me.
I angrily stormed into the library and headed for my room but Sam caught my tears..
"What happened?" Sam exclaimed, immediately standing at the sight of me.
"Are you okay?" Kevin stopped whatever he was doing and they both stood in my way.
Dean appeared with a gleaming face and an enormous grin he couldn't help. He was still shaking, trying to calm himself from laughing. I was scowling at the floor.
"What happened?" Sam asked Dean again.
"She--" he tried but cut himself off with a chuckle. "—broke the guy's wrist!" His laughter interrupted him again. "And he said he'd shoot her if she didn't let him do her tattoo with the hand she broke! And now—and now she's crying!" He was clutching his stomach.
Sam sighed at Dean and rolled his eyes.
"Can I see?" he asked me gently, even holding out his hand for my wrist. I clutched it tighter to me.
"It's probably not that bad..." Kevin coaxed. He earned an angry glare from me and then I held out my wrist so they could see just how bad it was.
Sam's eyes widened and Kevin let out a surprised chuckle.
"No way!"
It was a horribly drawn devil's trap that I didn't even think it was going to work.
But in the center of the very shaky pentagram was a very foul word forever etched into my skin that started with 'F' and ended with 'you.'
