Kylo slammed his hand down on to the button. 'Oh boy,' you thought.
Seconds went by until Kylo finally spoke up. "So, this is where you've been?" He spoke, you could hear him speaking through gritted teeth.
"That's right" You answered, not fazed by the question.
"You've also learned how to close off your mind?" He questioned as he turned into your view, slamming his hand into the wall to your left, standing in front of you. You looked up into his eyes.
"I have" you answered, you closed your eyes and concentrated, Kylo noticed your expression and then floods of emotions crashed into him. You knew he felt them because he slightly stuttered backwards. "I have learnt to close my mind off because Snoke doesn't exactly like my internal conversations" you muttered, crossing your arms over your chest, lifting your left leg over your right, leaning back against the elevator wall. "However, I don't take much notice of it now. I only just noticed I had my mind closed off because you mentioned it. Sometimes, it's easier to just keep it closed permentantly since Snoke is the only one who's able to read minds other than yourself but as you know, you weren't here". you answered, sighing. Rubbing the back of your neck with your hand.
Kylo regained his posture "Why did you leave?" He answered, sternly. You pushed yourself off against the wall and placed your right hand upon his chest "Because of my emotions, No! My own feelings were not strong enough. As well as my resolution to become stronger, to become someone on equal terms as you". You answered. "I will become stronger". You finally looked him in the eyes, Kylo saw the raging fire that danced within your eyes as well as the bursting emotions within you. "Far, far stronger than I am now, I will not be weak". you pulled your hand away from his chest, turning to the wall of the elevator where the buttons were, inches away from pressing the button Kylo grabbed your hand.
Without warning, your face was in Kylo's chest. "Wha-" but before you could finish your sentence Kylo interrupted you "So this is why you left?" He questioned, the feeling of hatred and anger was now gone, the only emotions that were left were confusion, sadness and loneliness but you couldn't grip who's it was.
You looked up into Kylo's face "It was" you answered "Snoke gave me a choice, to leave without no one knowing or stay and allow my emotions to slowly eat me from the inside" you answered, sighing "I'd rather die than let that happen again". Pulling slightly away from Kylo, however, his grip around your wrist and waist was strong, he pulled you back into him. You didn't know what to do, you just stood there, your heart racing so much that it hurt.
Kylo released his grip on your wrist but moved to your waist, both his arms wrapped around your waist, he was cradling you in his arms. Without warning, you own arms wrapped around his chest, you took a deep breath 'Oh how you missed this scent' you thought, as you fought back the tears wanting to be released.
He placed his chin on the top of your head, hearing him sigh. The feeling of the air being released from his body, that you were currently hugging was almost too much for your heart. You knew instantly that he thought and felt the same as you did, as you embraced each other. You buried your face into his chest. 'Do not cry' you internally muttered 'not now'.
Kylo spoke up, startling you "Promise me something" he muttered quietly.
You pulled yourself backwards slightly, getting a good view of Kylo's face. The pain that painted his face instantly painted yours. What had you done to him? How much pain did he have to deal with while you were on this ship?
"Promise me, you will not leave me, not again." He spoke.
You nodded "I promise". He pulled you back into his embrace. using more pressure than before. 'I promise, forever' You thought. You felt a smile on Kylo's face, as his face was currently embedded in your hair.
