Chapter 3

After that Melissa left abruptly leaving the two to get ready for their informal dinner with Nastia at a diner nearby.

Ever brushed delicately her light silver hair and looked out the window to see a boy riding a motorcycle who entered the neighbouring garage. After he turned the roaring engine off that bellowed throughout the street Melissa powerwalked out the door and ushered him in after shouting his name in fury. Ever giggled at the humorous scene that was happening in front of her. She placed her brush down and stood up, taking a last look at her hair that cascaded perfectly down her shoulders. She strolled out the door and downstairs to where Pan waited impatiently, tapping his foot against the hardwood floor.

"Ready?" He asked as Ever nodded, equally impatient to see the only friend Pan managed to make in a thousand years...quite literally. The two walked outside, locking the door from prying eyes and into their retro Mercedes that was the only car that Pan could drive, given that Ever crashed multiple cars during their year together, and therefore renounced her right to drive.

They stopped in front of the glowing warmth that radiated from the friendly diner. As they stepped inside, the sent of fries and maple syrup engulfed them in spirals, rendering the twins senseless and hypnotising them. The diner that glowed azure from its stools to its trim and workers wore the same shade of blue from head to toe. A hand raised up into the air, locating their guest among the bustle of other groups. Pan walked first, holding Ever by the hand so she would follow and not get lost among the sea.

The girl looked up from her menu and pierced the twin's looks with her green stare. "Nastia, how are you," Pan said sliding into the vinyl booth. "This is my sister Ever." He continued motioning to his sister, completely disregarding her cold shoulder.

"HI!"Ever said waving spastically and smiling. "I'm Ever." She continued hugging the girl who was taken aback, at that moment Ever felt a switchblade against her stomach. She smiled and sighed, "Not much of a hugger are you?" She said letting the girl go and sitting next to her brother, thinking nothing of the switchblade.

"Last time I saw you, you bashed your sister's head with a rock." She said flatly.

Ever looked at Pan who continued to read the menu with no changed expression, "Really?" She asked teasingly.

After their meal, the twins drove back to their house passing a woods on their left side. As they entered the house, both twins collapsed on their beds, embracing their sleepless dreams.

Sorry, this chapter is so short but I was so busy! 

I GOT ACCEPTED INTO A BILINGUAL SCHOOL IN LONDON!!!!

I'm just so happy and I still can't believe I got in!

I've been working so hard to get in and I'm so happy.
