Before the truck even rolls to a stop Daryl hops out the back, pacing back and forth as the rest of us get out.
I stretch slightly and roll my eyes as Daryl eyes us before barking "He better be ok"
Yeah well, we spent most of the morning fighting verbally and physically so that spent up a lot of our time and I wanted to leave yesterday but ok.
I peer around the buildings as we stand and gather ourselves. Let's hope that the undead finally drops dead for real.
A hand grabs my shoulder and I hoist it over my shoulder as I bend, sending the person over my shoulder.
Rick grunts and I groan. I told him not to touch me but no. I hold my hand out and he grabs it, letting me pull him up again.
He groans "I probably should have known better"
I sigh and nod as I look around once more before following Rick to the group.
Rick and Glenn cut through a fence and once we through the older man asks the group "Merle or the guns?"
I sigh knowing that it will set Daryl off, and I agree. Get the living creature before the objects.
"Merle! We ain't even having this conversation!" Daryl exclaims as he practically stomps his foot in a temper tantrum.
I step up to the side of him, looking Rick square in the eyes and state "I agree, more people we can get, the better. Merle."
Rick looks at me and nods at Daryl but corrects "We are."
He turns to Glenn "You know the geography. Your call"
I roll my eyes and know that Merle is closer so I look at Glenn, narrowing my eyes at him.
He looks at me but quickly looks away as he gulps out "Merle is closer. Guns mean doubling back. Merle first"
Glenn told the truth. Good, I won't have to fill his pillow with bugs.
I allow my face to fall normal and I retreat behind the group once more.
As we slowly make our way to the building that we stupidly left an alive man in, I focus on the dark alleys that even on good days can be bad for people.
Something moves out of the corner of my eye and I jump, tripping over the arm of a dead walker.
I groan and hear the others footsteps stop as Rick asks "You alright?"
I grunt and make my way to my feet, brushing my self off "Yep, thought it moved. I thought it would be a good idea to make sure it didn't. It's- it's dead."
I nod and glance at them with my throbbing face, a small sheepish smile as Glenn and T shakes their head playfully at me, Rick giving a shit eating grin.
Daryl only sighs and mumbles something that suspiciously sounds like 'stupid little girl'.
I roll my eyes and wave them on to the department store before following behind, sneaking a look at my thigh bag, only to find it safe and sound.
