I sigh as Alec rests his arm on my head as we drive behind the caravan. I push his arm off of my head for what seems to be the thousandth time and growl as he once more placed his arm on my head.

I roll my head before twisting to face him and sock him on the shoulder making him flinch back and hit his head on the window.

For what seems to be Daryl's millionth sigh, he finally snaps "Will you two stop acting like kids?"

I give Alec a look and lean back, looking past them and at the road ahead of me. Why did I have to be stuck between these two?

I'm fine with riding with people but between these two, god I wish I had stayed back at the CDC.

I watch as Alec pulls a cap from the dash and onto his head. I sigh and pull it from his messy copper hair and toss it to Daryl's side of the dash, I watch Daryl looks at the hat than back at us, the corner of his mouth twitching.

Alec finally settles as he turns to look at us as he pulls one of his lanky legs up and under him, I lock my jaw knowing that he's going to pester us like the past two hours has been going.

I sneak a look at Alec as he opens his mouth and spouts "So, how di' ye meet?"

I roll my shoulders and flash a smile at Daryl before starting "Well, I had just arrived at the camp and a walker showed, scaring the kids, and we run up the damn thing is eating a deer."

I pause and look over at Alec who looks displeased at my potty mouth but a small sheepish smile spreads across my face as I finish up "Anyways, he came cussing up a storm and when Dale, the old man, tried to stop him he got into his face so I intervened.

Let's say he was growling and hissing at every snide remark I made. Then he got into a fight with Rick and when I tried to stop them I got elbowed, and before you go all big brother on his ass, he apologized and I accepted, that and we are all good."

I stop and look at Daryl who seems to be ignoring us and remark "Er- well pretty sure we are"

Alec sneaks a look past me and to Daryl and raises an eyebrow in my direction. I roll my eyes and shrug my shoulders. That was until Daryl speaks up and confirms "We're chill"

I smile and check I have a long sleeve on before taking my leather jacket off and folding it in my lap.

I look over to Alec who is looking hard at me, I tilt my head causing him to gasp and pull the collar of my shirt aside to look at where a dark bruise splattered on my pale skin like watercolor.

I watch as his eyes harden like granite and his jaw locks as the gears in his mind churned.

Daryl, feeling the tension in the cab, looks over and as he spots the bruise that I was keeping hidden under my shirt, his knuckles turn white from tightening his hand around the wheel.

Alec catches wind of this and the anger in Daryl's eye and growled: "Who, an' when?"

I sigh and let Daryl take the lead "Shane, last night. I found him with his pants unbuttoned, going to-"

He cuts himself off as his voice deepens with anger. I look down at my lap as I feel the anger resonating off of the two men.

"I'm goin' to murde' him." Alec's voice was deep and guttural as he voiced his threats toward the man that is fucked in the head.

I whip my head to him and even though my voice was clear and demanding fear was in my eyes "NO! Look, yes I'm pissed about that and I want to slaughter him like a butcher would, but think of the group.
