SIXTY NINE! I'm dying, we have been through so far! So much trauma, so much pain. But there is more so just wait up, I'll ruin you all.

Anyways, thank you all for reading my story, and I kinda don't know if I should split the story up for after the end of this chapter or just continue on till the end of the story. I know that I like long stories but I don't want to intimidate new readers.

Any thoughts? I'd love to hear any ideas about my dilemma.

And again, thanks for reading.

I swing my legs over the edge of my balcony, hair brushed and braided in three main braids that come together to a high ponytail.

The tail of the pony brushing gently at the base of my head as the wind blows, I brush a hand over my frizzing hairs, watching as the metal door separating me and my group opens far below, showing the fighters walking out minus the young couple.

Currently sleeping after doing the deed all night. I just wish that these places had better walls, even from across the yard I could hear them.

I mean if I was right next to them then I would have told them to knock it off but seeing that I could only throw a rock through their window, I didn't. I don't think they would have appreciated that.

Alec is tucked under his boyfriend's arm, the redhead looks up and waves me down.

I tuck my legs under me and quickly jog down the stairs, leaving the tower, and locking the door behind me.

I nod over at Alec and Daryl, walking over asking "What we doing?"

Alec pulls me under his arm, shaking me slightly "Securin th' yard lass, ye want ta help?"

I hum, looking around "I wiped my blood on the fences, isn't that enough?"

They stop as Alec looks back to the others, Daryl speaking "To keep us safe from people, hun."

I sigh and prop my hands on my hips, looking around the bloody yard. I glance at him and sigh "What do we do?"

He smiles and nudges me with his arm "I ain't the college kid."

I narrow my eyes at him playfully, huffing "I didn't start college for castle defense I -"

He sighs and props his elbow on my shoulder "Yeah, medical. We all know, soon we will have to call you doctor soon won't we?"

I open my mouth but shut it, a short memory of the day mama died, us sassing each other about the title doctor.

I shake him off as the others walk up, Rick giving orders "Luce, can you slowly move cars while we turn them over?"

I glance at him and scoff "Dude, I almost crashed last time at the farm."

He rubs his forehead and sighs most painfully "Alright, write up a plan then, in that little notebook of yours."

I hum and ask irritably "Oh yeah? Like what? A moat? Spikes?"

He blinks at me "That be good."

I narrow my eyes at him, pulling my worn notebook and wave it at him, "Fine, only because id rather have my death be comically medieval when I trip into a moat filled with spikes when I run from socialization."

Alec turns to me and sighs, sharing a look with Daryl before grunting "Aye, let's get to work."
