CHAPTER ELEVEN
KYOYA

"Then, Hibari-san. Please tell me what's bothering you." Tsuna pleaded.

"Tsk. Why should I?"

"That's.. I.."

Kyoya was irritated beyond reason by the Sky's stuttering. "Tch. I'm going home." The Cloud turned away once again.

Seeing the Cloud's leaving form caused a sudden pain in Tsuna's chest.

'Again..?!' Tsuna winced in pain, clutching his chest as his heart throbbed painfully. 'Kawahira-san was right. I might actually die.. But that's not what's important right now! Hibari-san is..'

With all his might, Tsuna forced his body to stand up straight and ignore the stabbing sensation inside.

"But.. I care for you, Hibari-san! I want to know what's bothering you! I want to listen to you! I want to help you!"

He stopped and was silent for a few seconds, stilled by the Sky's sudden outburst.

"Help me? I don't need anyone's help. Not especially from a weak herbivore like you. I'm a carnivore. I'm strong."

"I'm not doubting your strength, Hibari-san. As far as I know, you're my strongest Guardian. But I really want to help you."

The Cloud turned to face Tsuna and grasped his shoulders.
"I told you, I don't need your help! You're weak! A herbivore! What's worse, you're now a girl! You're powerless! You're not the same!"

Although he was gripping his shoulders and it hurts, Tsuna just let him be. He wanted Kyoya to vent out his frustrations, to let it all out.

"Face it, this world is different. We have different personalities here. Different names. Different identities. Don't act like you're still as you were in our world! You're not the same!"

Kyoya froze when he felt a hand brush his hair. "Then, why to I get the feeling that you're saying those words more to yourself than to me?"

Kyoya was stunned as he stared at him. He had a gentle smile on his face. Kyoya let his hands drop on his sides.

Tsuna looked straight into the skylark's gray eyes. He could see different emotions in them.

Irritation.

Rage.

But there was also frantic fear.

Indecision.

Uncertainty.

Doubts.

Now, he understood.

Tsuna always found Hibari as a strong and dependable person. He was always there in each battle, and even though he denies it, Tsuna knows that Hibari cares.

Because of that strong personality, he didn't realize sooner that a cloud can also be lonely when drifting too far.

They were transported in a different world. They were still in Namimori, but it is an unfamiliar territory, nonetheless.
