Chapter 11 - Huh?

Celina's POV

"What happened?" I asked Emily when she finished her meal.

She swallowed before she answered; she cleared her throat and sighed.

"When we were halfway home we heard a something land on the tail of the copter. We found a clear area in the woods so we decided to land to check out what's wrong, we might crash if we didn't make sure that the copter is safe to ride, so when we landed the pilot got out and saw wolves. We were outnumbered. One of the wolves shifted into his human form and negotiated that we leave our belongings as well as our copter and then leave. We didn't agree to his offer to he glared before he shifted into a wolf again. He sneered before he howled, signaling for the other wolves to use force. And the battle started. The pilot shouted for me to get inside the copter, he assured me that they will keep me safe, but only a second had passed, I was pinned down on the ground by a wolf. He growled at me. I pushed him back and literally kicked him off me but he managed to claw my stomach. I quickly stood up but I felt the pain from my wound. I felt that I was losing so much blood. He was about to attack again when one of our men used forced on the wolf, that hybrid can lift anything possible thing in the air as long as it's not too heavy or big with his mind. He lifted the wolf and threw him on one of the trees, yelping when he crashed and lost consciousness. The other hybrids used their talents to fight the wolves off but we lost so much than we fought. Our pilot was injured but he said that he could manage to fly us home before he couldn't take it any longer. We gathered everyone and took off. We managed to return but before we could land safely, the pilot lost control so we crashed. The others saw us and got us out of there before anything else happened." Emily said with a sigh.

"So that's what I heard when I woke up." I said with full of curiosity.

Emily giggled and patted the top of my head.

"Don't worry anymore, okay?" she said with her sweet smile.

I pouted and sighed.

"Will you be alright?" She smiled widely and pulled me into a hug.

"Of course! Why wouldn't I be? You're already here. What else could make me feel alright?" She said while she laughed.

I tried to pull away from her lung crushing hug. 

"You... are... so... corny!" I exclaimed.

I sighed while I walked towards Philip's office. One of the nurses said that we shouldn't be loud in there and that visiting hours are over.

"I shouldn't have been kicked out of there if it weren't for her." I said to myself and giggled. 

"What are you laughing at?" I almost slapped Shawn who suddenly appeared next to me. I sighed and glared.

"You should've said something before you creep on me!" I scolded him which made him laugh. 

"So what are you up to?" He asked.

"I'm about to go to Philip's office to let him know about my training." He scratched the back of his neck before speaking.

"About that... I just came back from his office, he said that I will be the one training you today." He said with a small laugh.

"Huh?"
