Chapter 32 - l Am The Night

Celina's POV

I opened my eyes and saw that I was in a different room. The room was dark, only the moonlight gave a weak light that lit the room. I took a deep breath and felt a tight grip on my hand. I looked over to the direction and saw a girl that rested her head on the edge of my bed.

"Are you asleep?" I whispered and gave a light smile. I knew for a fact that the girl is Thana. At the first glance you'll think of her as an evil person but once you get to know her, it's the exact opposite.

I giggled when I remembered what happened a few hours ago but I stopped when I remembered to keep my grinning to myself if I don't want to embarrass myself any further.

I sighed and felt the grip tightened up to the point that it started hurting.

"I don't think that you'll be embarrassing yourself when you grin." I heard Thana but her voice and the way she said it was a bit different.

I crossed my eyebrows and hissed when her grip tightened a bit more.

"You're hurting me!" I exclaimed.

Her head slowly rose from where it was resting a few seconds ago. She kept her head hanging that made me see only her lips, smiling while the moonlight shun brighter.

"You'll experience pain like how I experienced it." She said which confused me.

I pulled my hand to get it out of her grip but with countless tries that I did was countless failures that it resulted.

"What are you doing? It hurts! Let go of me!" I exclaimed when I reached for my wrist and pulled harder.

She slowly turned her head towards me and slowly opened her eyes.

Her eyes weren't the ones that I saw when I met her. Her eyes are as dark as the night sky.

I winced at the pain when I felt my wrist dislocated from my hand. "Who are you?" I asked with teary eyes.

She smiled. "I am The Night. Enjoy your day, for it will be your last." She said and finally let go of my hand.

Cyrus's POV

Celina suddenly jolted up from her bed with heavy breaths.

She looked around the room and sighed.

"Are you okay?" Thana said which made Celina look at her. Her breath hitched as if she remembered something. She looked straight into her eyes which intrigued me. She then let out a breath and closed her eyes.

She lied back down and brushed her hand across her face and suddenly lifted her right arm in front of her face and sighed.

"It was only just a dream." She said which made my eyes widen. Did she just say that she had a dream? A dream that she woken up to with heavy breaths?

I cleared my throat which made her look at me, as if she's questioning me about my presence in the room. "It's nice to know that you're still the sister complex brother that I have." She said in a jokingly manner but I didn't give a laugh for a response.

"Excuse me? What did you say that I'm still the sister complex brother that you have?" I said which made her shook her head.

"It's nothing. I just had a bad dream." She said and looked at Thana. "How did you get here?" She asked with a smile but something's telling me that her smile's hiding something that she doesn't want Thana to know about.

Thana smiled and tightened her grip on Celina's hand. "Somehow you popped into my mind and when I went to see you, I flew by your window, that's when I saw you. But you were in a different room so it's a good thing that I saw you here before I went to your room." She said with a smile but it disappeared and replaced with a sigh. "When I saw you, you looked like you were in pain. I let myself in and stayed by your side until you brother came, I asked if I should leave but he insisted on me staying." She said with a blush that she tried so hard to hide it from me.

I cleared my throat and made my way towards her bed.

"That's enough of that." I said which made her pop an eyebrow up. "What were you talking about again, about your dream?" I asked which made her shook her head and smile.

"It's nothing." She said and smiled. She took in a deep breath and let it out in a matter of seconds.

She smiled at Thana and held her hand with her other hand.

"Thana can I ask you something?" She said which made me cross my eyebrows. "You might have noticed that we are in a different room, and someone might have forgotten to bring my clothes with me when that certain someone brought me here." She said and eyed me. "Can you get me a pair of clothes? I want to take a shower and you know where my room was, right?" she asked which made her nod and smile.

"Of course!" She said and stood up. "It'll only take a few minutes. You can rest for a bit while I'm gone." She said and disappeared. I closed the door right after Thana left.

I cleared my throat and walked towards her bed again but this time I sat on the edge of it. "I suppose that you have something that you want to talk about? You did make an excuse to make her leave." I said which made her eyes widen with shock.

"You're sharp on these things, aren't you?" She said which made me chuckle and shrug my shoulders. "That wasn't a complement." She said which made me chuckle even more.

"But on to a more serious matter." I said which made her sigh.

She cleared her throat and begun. "I had a dream. I dreamt of her. She had dark blue eyes and she was different. I don't know what it means but I know that she doesn't know about it. What do you know about this?" She asked which made me lose all of my thoughts.

She's capable of doing things that I can't even imagine.

"Cyrus!" She screamed which made me wake up to reality. "Be great full that I called you by your name!" She insulted which I ignored.

"We'll all explain to you when we have more time than less than 5 minutes, but for now, I need you to pretend that nothing's wrong. Do you understand?" I said which she answered with a nod.

The door suddenly busted open revealing Thana with her hands full of clothes. "I couldn't just pick one." She said which made Celina giggle. Thana walked across the room and put down all the clothes that she gathered. "What are you been talking about since I left?" She said while she tried to catch her breath.

Celina smiled but then gave her the puppy dog eyes.

Really? Puppy dog eyes? That's all you could do?

"Cyrus said that he wouldn't go out even if I have to take a shower." She said which made Thana cross her eyebrows.

"Seriously? Dude you have a MAJOR sister-complex." She said which made me glare at Celina. "Okay!" Thana exclaimed and walked towards me. She pulled me up and started pushing me towards the door. "Out with you Mr. Sis-Com." She said which made Celina giggle in delight. I grunted with every step that she made me took and when she finally got me out of the room she stuck her tongue out and slammed the door shut.

I heard muffled giggles that they were giving each other but I didn't mind it since that I wasn't hearing screams of terror. I shrugged my shoulders and smiled.

Celina really likes her.
