Chapter 13 - Three Years

Celina's POV

I didn't respond. I just looked at him and saw him shaking; he was trying to calm himself. I hesitated at first but I just wanted to know, I want to hear what he was about to say.

"Lied about what?" I said coldly.

Tears started to fall which made me worry. I'm going too far, aren't I?

"You said that you would never change towards me, even if years pass, you would never try to avoid me; that you would stay by my side! You promised me, didn't you?!" He shouted which surprised me since that he never shouted at me before.

"Why?" he asked while he wiped his tears away.

"Why did you change?!" he shouted again but he began to cry harder.

I didn't respond. I jumped and hugged him tightly.

"I'm sorry." I breathed while he kept sobbing.

I wrapped my arms around his neck and pulled him into a hug. He buried his face on to my neck and wrapped his arms around me. This time, it didn't hurt. It felt good.

"I don't know how to explain this but since you changed positively towards me, I just changed negatively even though I don't know why, I'm sorry." I said while I hugged him tighter.

I don't know about this feeling yet, but I can tell that I have no escape with it. I don't know what to do about it or how to get rid of it but I can tell that eventually I'll get used to it.

"Three years..." he breathed.

"I've been pushing myself towards you for three years yet still you haven't noticed. When you started noticing you began to avoid me." He said while he pulled away.

He didn't leave. My arms were wrapped around his neck while his hands were still on my waist. 

"For three years I still haven't given up. I asked Philip to stay here and do all the training with you to spend time with you but still you haven't noticed it at all." He said with a frown.

"I'm sorry?" I said without even thinking.

He chuckled.

"You're still as innocent as ever." He said which made me look away but he titled my head upwards when we held my chin.

"Still can't tell what this is?" He said while his eyes were longing for mine.

He looked away several times but still looked at me. He gulped before he began to lean forward. Is this what I think it is? Holy fudge I closed my eyes, I was panicking. But I calmed down and waited for it to happen.

But then I woke up... I looked around and noticed that the sun was about to set. I felt something heavy on my lap. I looked down and saw Shawn peacefully sleeping on it. My face started to burn and I could feel myself blushing What the heck was that dream about? I covered my face with my hand and tried my best not to scream in embarrassment. What the fudge did I just dreamed of?!
