Celina's POV

I finally made my way towards my room which Thana was so helpful to tell me where it was.

I smiled at all the new memories that I made with my family. I discovered a new side of my Sis-Com twin brother and learned about Thana. Come to think of it, why did she say that my brother doesn't like her? By the way that Cyrus looked at her I could tell that he's just confused about his emotions, but I can tell that Thana isn't.

I was practically grinning to myself while I imagine them both together when I bumped into someone with a well-built body structure. I looked up and looked straight into the man's red pupils. He chuckled and shuffled his jet black hair while looking down at me.

"Easy there. You could've hurt yourself." He said with a slight laugh. "You should watch where you're going when imagining something while grinning."  Now he's just being rude.

"Sorry Uncle Aiden." I said with my head lowered.

He chuckled once more and shuffled the top of my hair.

I almost slapped his hand away due to the fact that I don't want anybody touching my hair. But I couldn't. I wasn't going to let him see my "touch me and I'll kill you" side.

"Run along now. I expect you to be good now." He said which I responded with a nod which made him smile and leave.

I sighed and slapped myself.

I was used to being neglected back at the mansion so even if I make a fool out of myself, nobody would care.

I finally reached my room. I opened the door and sighed at the color that blinded me.

I don't actually like pink.

I sighed and took a step. I turned around and closed the door. I locked it before turning my way towards my bed.

I literally threw myself on my bed and inhaled a deep breath, relaxing myself while I tried to let myself fall asleep.

But something had other plans for me.

My throat suddenly felt dry. My chest tightened. My breath hitched.

I suddenly stood up and literally tried clawing my throat up by the irritating sensation that I felt.

I opened my mouth to call for someone but my eyes widen with shock.

My voice wasn't working.

I panicked more when I remembered that I locked the door.

Why did I lock the fudging door?!

Oh yeah, because of an unwanted presence caused by someone with a major sister-complex.

But back to a more serious matter.

I didn't know what to do. My eyes watered and my throat hurt a lot more. The only thing that I could think of was mom.

I wanted to call out to her but I couldn't.

I couldn't shout anything, heck I couldn't even speak.

It was a thirst that I felt for the first time.

A thirst that I couldn't explain.

A thirst that scared me.

I closed my eyes and tried to calm down. I took in deep breaths while I held my neck with my right hand. I covered my eyes with my left hand and wished for a way to call someone over. I couldn't care less if they broke the door just for them to get in here. All I want is for someone to come in and help me.

My eyes watered. I was helpless. In all the training that took years, this is the only thing that I couldn't put up a fight against.

And so I started thinking about mom, wishing for a way to let her know that I needed her.

"Please come." I said within my mind.

"Help me." I thought.

"Mom!" I thought harder and within seconds I heard a loud pounding on the door.

The door knob started turning endlessly. "Celina!" I heard someone shout.
I was in shock. She really came.

"Celina what is going on in there?!" She shouted but I couldn't answer her.
I tried my best to do what I did earlier but I felt myself weaken by every second that passed.

My body finally gave up. I fell onto my bed. My body might have given up but I can still hear what was going on outside.

"Mom what's going on?" I heard Cyrus's muffled voice with full of panic.

"It's your sister. I heard her calling out to me but her door is locked." She was panicking. "Break the door." She ordered.

It was only half a second when I heard a loud crash and then I could finally hear their voices clearly.

I heard mom's footsteps as she ran towards my direction. I couldn't open my eyes but I could tell that she was looking at me in a worried way.

"Get the juice." She ordered which made Cyrus ran outside and within a few seconds later he was back.

I felt strong arms pull me up. My head rested on what I could tell, my mom's lap.
I heard the contents of the juice poured out into the glass and heard my brother's footsteps getting closer.

When the glass was inches away from me, I could smell a somewhat iron scent that was inching closer to me.

The sensation was unexplainable.

I felt my body literally fighting for the so-called juice like my actual life depended on it.

As soon as the cold glass touched my lips, Cyrus tilted the glass which made the liquid flow out of it and into my mouth.

I was shocked at what I was tasting.

It was blood.

I was confused. I didn't know what was going on. I was shock at the fact that I was drinking blood but my body accepted it like it was normal for it to do so.

When I drank it all I was finally able to open my eyes.

I was blinded by the light but blinked a few times for my eyes to adjust to it.
The first person that I saw was mom. She looked down on me with teary eyes and with a less worried look.

I turned to look at Cyrus who was sitting next to my coffee table with both of his hands on his waist and with his head titled up. He was breathing heavily for what I noticed.

I then tried sitting up which mom helped me to do it and saw my door crushed. The debris of it was scattered all over the room, I'm just lucky nothing came flying to me.

When we all calmed down, Mom wiped the left over blood on my lips and smiled.
"I guess that you want an explanation?" She said with I answered with a nod.
Cyrus sat down but since I woke up, he didn't even look at me even once. Mom began with the explanation.

"You didn't forget about you being a vampire, right?" Oh shoot. I smiled apologetically which made her smile. "Well, when vampires turn eighteen, they don't just find their mates but also, they will thirst for blood for the first time. You see, a vampire doesn't actually live off of just blood. But since that we are not actually humans, we need to occasionally drink the blood of humans to maintain not just our appearance but also our sanity as a vampire. It is also the main source of our powers, so it is like a vitamin that is essential for us to take." She said which confused me.

"So do we need to kill humans?" I wasn't thrilled with the option, but yet I don't know if it is actually an option or not.

Mom shook her head and smiled. "We don't have to. Our scientists have already created a blood substitute in order for us to maintain a good relationship with humans. There are already products that contains blood substitute but you would hardly taste the blood substitute in it at all." She proudly said which proved that she already tried some or most of it.

I smiled and nodded. "I really want to learn more but I guess I'm still a little weak." I said while I tried my best to keep my eyes open. I took in a deep breath and sighed.

"Take her up to her new room." Mom ordered, and with that, a pair of strong arms lifted me from my bed. I wanted to protest about knowing where to find this new room but I couldn't find the strength to do it.

And so, I finally fell asleep.
