Shawn's POV

I couldn't actually sleep since that day.
I yawned while I made my way down on the hallway. I dragged my feet and literally myself with it. I looked around, still not used to the quiet surroundings. By this time, Alexa would have been sneaking behind me, trying her best to scare me.

I stopped at my tracks and stared blankly at the floor. Reminiscing all of the memories that we had together in this place, how the pain started yesterday.

I didn't know that her last training the other day would actually be the last. And I didn't think know that it was the last time that I would get to hold her hand.

Tears stared to flow from my eyes.

Dammit Philip! Why would you keep such a thing from me!

I clutched my hand until it was a fist and furiously punched the wall next to me, leaving a hole when I pulled my hand back to my side.

I heard someone scream and when I turned to look who it was, I saw Astrid. She had both of her hands covering her lips while tears began to form in her eyes. She stood there and gave me a pained look.

I didn't speak. I didn't call out to her or even bother to ask her what's wrong, soon enough she was rushing to my side, crying. She ripped some of the fabric from her dress and then took out my hand. She gently but tightly wrapped it around my hand, that's the only time that I felt the pain.

Blood was dripping out and I've probably broken it too.

But I just didn't care.

"Shawn." My sister breathed while she looked at me with those teary eyes. "Don't make me remember." She pleaded which made me snap back into reality.

I made her remember how I was when Mom died.

Aside from me and my Father, Astrid was the one who suffered the most.

"I-I'm sorry..." I breathed but I looked away. I couldn't look at her while I'm like this. She held my bloodied hand and slowly pulled me.

She took the lead. I know what she's doing. She wanted to go first so that I wouldn't see her cry but she didn't want to let go of my hand because she's afraid that if she did, I wouldn't be there when she turned around.

I could see her sobs through her shoulders and how scared she was because of how her hand has been shaking.

We met up with Emily after a few minutes of walking. She gasped when she saw my hand but she tried her best to keep her calm composure.

"Let's take you to the infirmary." She said and took over Astrid.

Astrid stopped. "I'm sorry Emily, but can you take my brother there by yourself?"
I know this one.

She'll say that she forgot that she left something in her room and she needs to go and get it.

"I left something in my room and I need to go and get it." She said without making any eye contact, she just kept looking at the floor.

She turned around and walked passed me, not even looking at me or even saying anything. She just walked straight without any emotion on her face.

When she disappeared from out sight Emily sighed. I just kept looking at where she disappeared to. But then I felt someone pulled my ear up.

"That hurts!" I screamed which made her bark a laugh.

"But a broken hand doesn't?!" She exclaimed and let go of my ear. "Did you know how you made Astrid worry over you? She's already worrying about Alexa! You know how your sister likes Alexa! Between an idiot and a moron you are an idiotic moron!"
