Celina's POV

When we both calmed down, Mom giggled and took a deep breath. She smiled and brushed my tears away with her thumb, my skin felt warm under her touch, it's like a touch that I have been longing for, for 17 years. It made me smile and it made my heart warm up. She cleared her throat but couldn't resist smiling. She took in another deep breath but this time she pulled me in into a tight hug which I gladly accepted. For a moment I felt her sob again which made me rub circles around her back, comforting her. She pulled away and wiped her tears away, again.

She cleared her throat for the last time and straightened her clothes from where it wrinkled up due to the hugs that we both gave each other.

She smiled and took both of my hands into hers. "You go ahead and eat your breakfast now, dear. There are also clothes in your dresser. I think that they just might fit you. When you're done eating I would like for you to meet the rest of the family, okay?" she suggested which made me froze up. She noticed my sudden change of posture which made her laugh. "Don't worry, they're all excited to meet you so you wouldn't be out of placed since that they're all waiting for you... well since you were... uh... you know, never mind that." She said and awkwardly laughed. "Just meet us when you're done preparing, okay?" She said which I answered with a nod.

When she was satisfied with our talk she hugged me once more and made her way towards the door.

I watched every step that she took. I wondered if how much steps she has taken while pacing since I was taken away from her. How much sleepless nights she had. How much tears she cried and how much pain she felt. It broke my heart just by thinking about it. I felt myself tearing up again which made me call out to her.

"Mom?" I said which made her look back. She waited for anything that I would tell her but I couldn't speak. I didn't know how and what I should tell her. I just wanted to say that I'm sorry but I know deep inside that apologizing for the things that you didn't have a choice to isn't really apologizing for it, you're just feeling sorry or rather feeling pity on those who have suffered, so I kept my mouth shut.

She gave me a loving smile before opening the door. "Don't worry about them not liking you; they've loved you ever since you were born." She said which made me smile. She looked at me longingly before going out of my room and closing the door behind her.

I let out a sigh which I've been keeping back then. I closed my eyes for a few seconds to process the information and the situation in my head.

"You are a vampire princess that has been lost for 17 years and now you're home." I said.

"Technically you are the vampire princess." I heard a voice of a boy that came from the door. I quickly opened my eyes and saw that boy that had the same face as mine, oh yeah, I mean the boy who is my twin. "You look tense." He said while he walked across the room and towards me. "Why is that?" He asked which literally made me tense up. I remembered how he changed himself when he kidnapped me. "Sorry about that." He said while he rubbed the back of his neck while letting out a sigh.

"I didn't know what to do since you weren't listening to me. But I honestly didn't intend to harm you, in any way. We just wanted to retrieve you." He said which made me let out a deep sigh.

I looked at him which made him froze up. I stepped closer which made him take a step back. I grinned which made him look away in embarrassment. Look who's all tense now.

"It's no biggie." I said and shrugged my shoulders. "But if you would have hurt me that day I somehow know that I wouldn't talk to you for the rest of my life." I teased which made his eyes widened and somehow made him shake for a bit.

"Y-You wouldn't--"

I laughed. "I was just kidding!" I exclaimed and continued my laughter. I clutched my stomach due to the intense laughter that I was doing. "I didn't expect you to react that way!" I continued laughing. He waited for me to finish and when I did, I wiped my tears away. "Do you have a sister complex or someth--"

"And what if I do?" He said in the most serious tone of voice that I have ever heard in my life, more serious than Philip's. "We have searched high and low, far and wide. You can call me anything that you want to call me. Call me Mr. Sis-Com if you have to but I don't care. All I care about is that you are home. You might not got to know that you have a twin brother while you grew up in that place but I have known that you are my sister ever since I could remember, and don't even think that I've forgotten for even just a day. Retrieving you was my top priority while growing up. Mom and Dad didn't give up, and so did the rest of us. It's not just me who's going to be like this, but expect the whole family to be protective of you this time, but I will be the one who will over protect you." Geez so this is what it feels to have an overprotective brother at your side, imagine if you have two or three more or him. It would be like "How dare you look at our sister!" brother one would say, and then brother two would be like "You think that you're good enough to even be looking at her?" and lastly brother number three, the most violent of all will be like "Look at her again, you'll never going to be able to look at anything ever again." Yeesh, what a nightmare.

I held out my hand and stopped him from saying another word. "Okay! Geez! I'm sorry!" I said and sighed. He nodded in satisfaction and smiled.

"As long as you understand." He said which made me roll my eyes at him. He turned his back on me and then started to walk towards the door but stopped halfway there. He just stood there like he realized something important. He slowly turned back around with this confused expression on his face and then opened his mouth to ask a question. "Where did the sword come from? I guess the dagger would be obvious since you took it out from the strap on your leg but where did you hide the sword?" He asked which made me cross my eyebrows and tried to recall what he was talking about.

I looked at the ceiling like a complete idiot thinking that the answer would be in the ceiling.

Oh right.

I smiled when I finally remembered. "Remember when I was laughing weirdly and then suddenly I wasn't thrown on your shoulders like a complete sack of potatoes?" I said which made him smile apologetically. "I laughed because I remembered that I hidden a couple of swords throughout the forest so that in case of emergency, I have something to fight with. And looks like it came in handy." I said which made him laugh awkwardly but immediately stopped.

"Hold on just a sec there." He said with the palm of his hand in front of my face. If he wasn't my brother I would've chopped that hand off using a bread knife. "I know that you hid the swords in case of emergency but why exactly would you do that and why exactly do you need to fight?" he asked which made me sigh in frustration and face palmed myself.

"You know that I was made to believe that lies that they said! So how would I know the specific reason why he trained me for fight?!" I exclaimed which made him held out his palm again in front of my face. "I'm going to chop that off if you don't stop!" I screamed which made him gasp.

"Chop what off?" He asked but shook his head immediately. "Who's he and trained?" he asked which made me growl at him.

I might need to knock him out just for him to shut him up.

**

I now have this fear that whenever my cat is looking at me for a long period of time, it makes me think that something is behind me again.

Sorry for the late update guys! I know that I said that I'll be going to update this story everyday but things came up and I wasn't able to. My phone broke, there was no internet connection and relatives from London came to visit and it'll be rude if I ignore them since that they only visit once every two years.
Let me hear your thoughts.
