Celina's POV

"Are you ready?!" Philip exclaimed while he holds on to his pocket watch.

I nodded and shouted.

"Yes!" He nodded back and looked at his pocket watch.

This time, for sure. I do whatever I can to make him proud of me.

"On my count!" He shouted.

I positioned myself and waited.

"Three!" I took a deep breath and sighed.

"Two!" Here goes.

"One! Now!" He shouted and so I ran towards the lake and dove right in.

I swam to the bottom and just waited there. I can do this. I just need to focus. I need to focus on my goal. I know that I have to do my best. I've only started my training last month but I know that I can do this right this time. Emily said that I gave it all when I was just a child, so now I'm going to do all that I can! I felt myself losing the air that I breathed. Just a little longer. Just a little longer. Just a little longer! But I couldn't hold it in anymore. I quickly swam towards the surface and breathed all the air that I needed. I swam towards the land and laid down, catching my breath. I opened my eye and saw Philip looking down at me, smiling.

"Good job." He praised me.

I got up but I still looked at him. I did it? I smiled widely and I heard a squeal then I felt someone hug me.

"I'm so happy for you!" Emily cheered.

I smiled at her and looked at Philip again.

"What's my time?" I asked which made him smile.

"Two minutes and seven seconds." He proudly said.

I did double of what I was supposed to do. I reached two minutes. He walked towards me and rubbed the top of my head.

"I'll be expecting great things for tomorrow's practice." He said and walked away.

"Emily." I breathed.

"I did it!" I was proud of myself. She nodded and wrapped a towel around my shoulder.

"I know!" She said with a smiled.

"I've earned his praise! I did it!" I said with a teary eye.

"I'm so glad."

"See? You can do anything once you put your mind into it." she smiled.

"You didn't give up. You gave your best." I nodded and hugged her.

"Thank you!" She shook her head and patted my back.

"You did it on your own, you don't need to thank me." She said but she's wrong.

"I couldn't have done it if you didn't tell me that I shouldn't give up. You motivated me." I said and hugged her tightly. She giggled and hugged me back.

"Okay, okay." She smiled.

"But remember that you still have training tomorrow!" she said which seriously ruined the mood.

"We were celebrating Emily!" I pouted which made her laugh.

She got up and held out her hand for me.

"Let's celebrate inside with your favorite food." I smiled widely.

"Pancakes?!" I asked and she nodded.

I took her hand and literally dragged her towards the mansion. She laughed.

"You'll get your pancakes, slow down." She giggled.

"There's no time to lose! To the kitchen!" I exclaimed.
