Chapter Twenty:
Dying to see you

"Come on," Lucinda groaned to Edward as she bounced up and down in her seat. The adoptive siblings were approaching the border of Forks at the end of their weeks travelling around the country, or the Westside at least, "I wanna get to school."

"Did you just say you wanted to go to school," he replied mockingly, "You hate school. So is it a something or someone who is going to be there?"

"Shut it," She said, getting jumpier by the minute. She had enjoyed her travels around the country but was looking forward to seeing her fiancé even more. A week apart was too long, especially since they had fully bonded. Every second the ache in her chest started to diminished slightly.

As the drove up the everlastingly winding roads to Fork High School, Lucinda started to look around at the students in the car park, searching for her family and as soon as the car parked, she launched herself out of it, faintly aware of Edward chuckling at her antics.

The Cullen/Hale children were not by their cars, as usual, so she had to wait until after homeroom for the first period of American History and Politics to see him again. Disappointments filled her veins as she heads to the main building for registration.

People were rushing to their classes, trying to get to their destinations before the first bell signals them being tardy. She walked up to the door of her form, a hand covered her eyes and an arm went around her waist. Of course, she knew who it was by not only the temperature of their skin but the slight buzz the contact had made.

She relaxed into his touch, finally at peace again. Turing in his arms, she gazed lovingly at the man she loves. As the bell rung, clearing the corridors, she kissed him with so much passion and love woven inside it. Pulling apart, they just rested in each other's embrace.

"I just had to see you, I couldn't wait another half hour," he said in his southern drawl. He pecked her lips once more, knowing that he had to let her go eventually, but not bringing himself to do it, "but you have to go too class now."

"Have you been registered?" she asked gaining a shake of a head as a response "Let's go home."

Grabbing his hand, they ran (at a human pace to blend in and not been revealed as supernatural) out of the main building and towards the car park where his Harley-Davidson resided.

Speeding down the winding roads a second time seemed quicker and linger at the same time. Maybe it was because she was with Jasper, or maybe it was the desire, the want inside of her bubbling up, ready to spill out.

Pulling up outside of the Cullen/Hale home, Jasper grabbed Lucinda's hand, moving at an inhuman pace to worship her body as every ounce of sexual cravings she got, Jasper felt on top of his own.

So his rough, needy kisses and dominance were neither unexpected or underappreciated on Lucinda's behalf as she wanted him- no needed him now, forever and always.
