Neither of the boys had said anything other than hello since they started the Skype call. The only sounds filling both rooms were of Ryan rewriting notes to be somewhat legible, and Brendon every so often struming a different chord on his guitar. They enjoyed the silence, though. It was comforting, just sitting there enjoying being with the other. It definitely wasn't something they got to do often being thousands of miles apart.

Its the silent moments that can be the best, really. But no one ever seems to appreciate them as much as they should. Unfortunately, their silence is broke by Ryan suddenly dropping his pen and staring blankly at his bedroom wall.

Brendon quirked an eyebrow at the older, though he couldn't see it. "What's wrong?"

"I just realized that I haven't bought, or even eaten a vegetable since I've moved here because they're too expensive."

Brendon burst out laughing. "What the hell were you doing to make you think of that?"

"I don't even know, it just randomly came to me. Honestly though its kind of depressing that I'm that broke."

"Are they actually that expensive though? Like, I wouldn't know cause I'm still mooching off of my parents, but still."

"They are when all you have a shit paying job, Bren. We can't all live in our parents' basement forever."

"Hey, I am going to live for free for as long as I possibly can."

"It's free real estate," Ryan whispered.

Brendon stifled a laugh. "Damn you, Ross."

"You love me, Urie."

"Unfortunately-"

"Honey, I'm home!" A voice shouted from the living room, if you could even call it that.

Ryan sighed, smiling just a little. "That would be Hayley."

Mere moments later, she was in the doorway of Ryan's room.

"What'd ya need, darling?"

"I want you to meet someone," he said, motioning for her to come in. "Well, more like he wants to meet you, but whatever."

"Oh, people, gotta love 'em." She walked over to the laptop, leaning down so more than just her torso was in view of the camera. "Hello, hello, hello, tis I, Hayley Williams, the wonderful girlfriend of Ryan Ross here." She kissed his cheek. "And you are?"

Brendon looked at Ryan, then at Hayley, then back at Ryan before speaking. "Leaving," he said, quite clearly, and understandably pissed off.

Ryan was in too much shock to stop him. To protest Brendon ending the call. To try to explain.

Brendon closed his laptop, turned off his phone, and just sat there, staring blankly, wishing he hadn't asked to meet the wonderful Hayley Williams.

Throwback to this years prom when Charlie only showed up to after prom and when questioned answered with "Seeing Infinity War was more important to me than going to a dance"
And then fell asleep on a couch
And like honestly same bitch

Why be productive when I can do this instead

Every paper I got this year is in this binder (except for latin cause we needed a separate binder for that)
The poor thing is bursting at the seams
I spent like an hour and a half hole punching everything cause I have nothing better to do with my life
Instead of like studying but who does that

Yo why does it seem like there was such a big build up to midterms
But then when finals came around it was just kinda like "oh, my first final is tomorrow? Since when"
