Ch.21

"Who?"I asked trying to play dumb.

"Crystal stop,"he said.

"Okay,okay.My name is Crystal.What's the big deal?"I asked.

 "Don't you remember?"Toby asked.

I looked away a little guilty.

"Crystal..."Toby said.

I took advantage of this and slipped out from under him.I stood up and ran.

"Crystal!"Toby yelled.

I ran without looking back.It doesn't matter if he knows me,he's just going to kill me.I felt like crying but couldn't.I ran down the street and made a left.I ran into someone as I was running.

"Sorry,gotta to go,bye!"I said rushing off.

Where am I suppose to go?I tripped and fell flat on my stomach.

"Ow...."I groaned as I sat up.

Did I break anything?

"No you didn't,"Toby said.

WHAT THE WHAT?!?!Didn't I lose him a few streets ago?

"I was waiting for you,"Toby said helping me up.

"Why would you even help me?You're suppose to kill me,"I said coldly.

"I'll figure something out,"he said.

I scoffed,"Then turn around and chop me to death."

"No!"

I raised an eyebrow.That was a little uncalled for.

Toby rubbed the back of his head,"I wouldn't  feel right killing my friend."

I rolled my eyes and Toby glared at me.

"Again I told you to stop doing that,"he said.

"I'm my own person,"I said.

"Well maybe I'm looking out for you."

"You were going to say something else."

"No I wasn't."

"I'm not a idiot."

"I didn't say you were."

"You're acting like it."

I pushed him away and walked back to the apartment.I kept looking over my shoulder to see Toby following me.Is he going to leave me alone?

"Not till you go home,"he said.

He's not going to leave me alone till I go home....I thought about  a cover story and Toby nodded happily.

"It might work,"Toby said.

"Of course it will.Just find two bad guys and you know...."I said.

"Got it.Slender will help you get your stuff,"Toby said running off.

'A very good plan,'Slender said appearing behind me.

"HOLY-Don't do that!"I yelled.

'A very bad habit,I can't promise I won't do it again.'

"Well you know which apartment?"

My answer was the area around me changing into the inside of my apartment.

"You need to teach me how to do that,"I said.

Slender nodded and I grabbed my bags.

"Just fit everything you can in this bag,"I said handing him the backpack.

I went to the dresser and started to pack my clothes.I heard static and knew Slender found my laptop.

"Just put it in the bottom,"I said.

The static disappeared and I stuffed the last of my clothes into the suitcase.

"I'm going to write a note,do you mind taking it to where I worked?"I asked.

Slender grabbed it and disappeared.I guess I'm ready to go home.

*A week later*

I had basically told everyone I had been kidnapped while heading to a friends.Toby made sure I had seen the men who he had killed and the police bought it.Life pretty much went on as normal as it could.Except for the roses I keep finding in my locker.I have enough to have two full vases.I put in my ear buds and listened to 'I love it' by Icona Pop.I couldn't hear anything as I finished my homework on my bed.I heard a loud bang and took out a ear bud.Who could that be?I walked to the front door and opened it.

"Miss me Demoness?"a cold voice asked.
