"Crystal?Are you paying attention?" a voice asked.
I ignored it and continued to stare off into space.The past few weeks have been....eventful.I don't even know my own actions anymore.Am I merely a pawn?
"Crystal!" the teacher shouted.
I jumped and looked at Ms.Opal.
"Yes Ms.Opal?"I asked.
"You my dear..." Ms.Opal began.
I saw Jenna smirked as I awaited the punishment.
"...Need to see Mrs.Price," Ms.Opal finished.
"What?" I asked dumbfounded.
"Go to Mrs.Price's office now!" Ms.Opal snapped.
I jumped up and ran out of the room.Trust me that woman's scary. I slowed down after I had passed a couple halls and went down the last one.I'm surprise no one saw me running,or even a teacher for that matter.I placed my hand on the cold doorknob and yanked my hand away.
"Stupid doorknob shocking me," I muttered.
I opened the door and stepped into the overly sweet smelling room.I crinkled my nose and tried to deal with the smell.
"Crystal Jones?" a short woman asked.
She had a kind look in her brown eyes,high cheek bones, slightly plump,dirty blond hair,which on top her head in a bun,and wore a purple button up and black dress pants.If you haven't already guessed it she's the school councilor. Yeah,this ....is going to suck.
"Yes?" I asked.
"Sit down dearie," she said gesturing to the seat in front of me.
I sat down and stared at into her eyes.Mrs.Price shifted and took a deep breath.
"It has come to my attention that you've been acting strange lately.So what's wrong dearie?" she asked.
"Nothing," I replied.
"Who are those boys you're always around?" she asked.
I smiled and said,"Hoodie and Masky,my closest friends, and Toby,my boyfriend."
"Is there anyone else you perhaps spend time with?"
"Sally,their little sister,Gigi,and my sister Jojo.Oh yeah, Nightshade and Mr S.Lender."
"How big is their family?"
"Well there's Jane,Jeff,E.J,BEN,Rake,and Smile."
"And those two red heads I've seen?"
"Selena and Jamie."
"And your parents."
"Pewds and Marzia."
Mrs.Price nodded and scribbled something down on some papers.I watched curiously as she wrote.What did I say?
"Well dear you need to spend more time with the others. I've already asked your teachers to assign you a tutor," she told me.
"What?" I asked dumbfounded.
"I'm restricting contact with you friends,you need have a bigger group of friends. I've contacted your parents and you're to spend the day with them," Mrs.Price said.
"You can do that?" I asked.
"Yes,and I've arranged for a get together for you and Ms.Jenna," Mrs.Price said.
"What?!"
Mrs.Price wrote down some things and handed them to me.I read the first sentence and my heart sunk.No time what so ever with Toby.I glanced up at the councilor and she smiled.
