[FIVE YEARS LATER HARRY'S POV]
I haven't been able to stop thinking about that day since it happened.
I didn't know if she was safe or even alive, that was eating me away. The uncertainty of everything. It was a strange feeling.
"I'm sorry Harry"
"Yeah" I scoffed watching as she got into the elevator. "Me too" tears ran down my cheeks uncontrollably as the doors closed removing my sight from her.
I stood there heaving as tears fell to the ground. I limped to the kitchen struggling and sat down at the counter that's when I noticed the papers. Her best penmanship scribbled down. I took the pen and signed my name.
I limped to living room started up the fire place then flopped down on the couch with the papers in my hand. I watched as the flames brightened. I slowed my breathing as I scooted closer to it.
"All that I am, when I was so much more" I quoted. "I'm alone, alone now for good, and I can never go back, never go back, never go back. I can never go back" I stared as my body started to heat. "I always get what I want" I grabbed the papers and tossed them in. "You will always be mine" I watched as they turned to ash. "No turning back"
"You ready to go?" Louis asked snapping me out of my thoughts. "Come on mate, I have to go get Freddie before Johannah kills me"
"Okay, lets go" I rolled my eyes quickly popping up.
We rode in silence while I scrolled on my phone. I stopped scrolling when I saw a post by Freddie's school.
Louis looked over quickly before returning his eyes to the road: "Oh, I've seen that" he chuckled. "There's a kid who looks exactly like you" he looked over again and pointed to the corner where a small boy with curled hair and bright green eyes.
"Wow" I breathed. "I don't see it" I joked cutting my phone off.
"You wanna go in or stay?"I nodded towards the door and followed him in.
I noticed a man leaning against the counter with a little girl dancing by his side. "Here sweetie" he handed her his phone and she fell beside his feet watching whatever was on the screen. I watched as she blinked quickly and leaned her head against his leg.
It hurt to know that I'd never have the with my kids. That I'd never even know my kids.
"Jenna, James!" A woman whisper spat while running after the kids. She had another small girl running behind her with a giddy smile on her face. "Please get back here, I'm in heels" she whined. "Jenna I will tell your father" she pointed while still after the kids. The girl stopped but the boy kept going. "James Wesley, stop!" When he passed me my eyes followed after him.
I felt something bump against my shoe. I saw her falling and I managed to reach the both of my hands and catch her firmly. One was on the front of her stomach and the other on the small of her back. I pulled her up.
"Careful" I laughed with my hands still supporting all of her body weight. She cleared her hair from her face and before she could look at me my hands released and she fell to the floor.
"Momma!" one boy and girl said in unison.
"Aunt O!" They ran to her quickly.
"Olivia" I whispered.
"What's going on?" Louis asked holding Freddie's hand.
"Let me help you" Louis offered letting go of Freddie's hand.
"I'm fine!" She swatted his hands away.
"Mommy, are you okay?" The little one put his hand on her face gently.
"I would if my son would listen to me when I speak" She straightened her clothes as she stood. "I don't have to discipline you like Uncle Matt does, do I?" She asked and the kid shook his head quickly. "Good" She stood and flipped her platinum blonde hair out of her face. "Thank you Si-r" She dragged out as her eyes focused on my face.
She slowly backed up: suddenly her heel broke and she was falling back again. I caught her and looked deep into those beautiful brown irises that I had lacked sight of.
"You're back in my life for two minutes, and you're falling for me all over again" I joked lifting her up. My hands rested on her hips while her body was against mine. She hadn't said anything, she was just staring, staring so deeply into my eyes.
"Move" a little girl shoved me off of Olivia. "Get off my mom"
"Nat" She stopped the girl. "Harry, these are your kids" she spoke with eyes still on me. "James Wesley Styles and Natasha Isla Styles" She sounded completely breathless by my entire being. Her chest heaved as she clutched the little girls hands. Her head started to twirl slightly. Then she dropped.
"Harry!" Louis yelled as she fell before us.
"My arms didn't react!" I shrugged at the same volume as his voice. "Plus she deserved to fall at least once after trying to leave me" I smiled down at her. "Should I throw water in her face or just let her sit there for awhile?"
He raised his brows high and glared at me. "Take her to the infirmary, along with the kids" he gestured towards them with his freehand. "I have to take Freddie to his mom, you good here?"
"Yeah" I nodded smiling down at Liv. "We have lots to catch up on"
Seven minutes later I was sitting in a room with the love of my life sprawled out over a chair while our kids stared at me strangely.
"What?" I questioned them finally breaking under their stare.
"You talk funny"
"That's mean"
"Your right" the boy snorted
"Didn't your mom ever tell you it's mean to make fun of people?" I rolled my eyes.
"No she didn't"
"For, what are you like five?"
"Four" James quipped.
"We turn five December" Natasha finished his sentence.
"Well for two future five year olds, your both little shi..."
"Harry!" Olivia yelled while propping herself up on her elbows. "Finish that sentence and whats down under won't be the only thing that's blue"
"Mommy whose this man?"
"This James Wesley Styles and Natasha Isla Styles, what's the one thing you told me you wanted for your birthday?"
"To meet my daddy"
"Well loves, this is him" She paused looking into my eyes. "Kids. Meet Harry Styles—your father"
