It's me again God,

You have been so faithful in meeting with me day after day as I come to read Your Word and speak to You. I love this quiet time away from the busyness of life to just be encouraged and empowered for whatever is ahead of me. Thank You for the model that Paul sets for us as he prayed for the Ephesians:

"When I think of all this, I fall to my knees and pray to the Father, the Creator of everything in heaven and on earth. I pray that from his glorious, unlimited resources he will empower you with inner strength through his Spirit. Then Christ will make his home in your hearts as you trust in him. Your roots will grow down into God's love and keep you strong. And may you have the power to understand, as all God's people should, how wide, how long, how high, and how deep his love is. May you experience the love of Christ, though it is too great to understand fully. Then you will be made complete with all the fullness of life and power that comes from God. Now all glory to God, who is able, through his mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think. Glory to him in the church and in Christ Jesus through all generations forever and ever! Amen."
‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭3:14-21‬ ‭NLT‬‬

Paul knows who You are - You are his Father and the Creator of everything. He acknowledges that he is praying to One who has 'glorious, unlimited resources' and it's from that position that he is able to ask You that the Ephesians be 'empowered with inner strength' through Your Spirit.

Your love is at the heart of this prayer. Paul talks of their roots going down into Your love, providing them with strength. This is such a beautiful image! May our faith be strengthened by always being deeply rooted in Your love. Indeed may we have 'power to understand .......how wide, how long, how high, and how deep' Your love is.

It's hard to comprehend Your love Lord —Paul acknowledges that! He asks that the Ephesians experience the 'love of Christ'. As we look to the cross, we see Your love as sacrificial, we see it as extravagant and we see it as love that is for all mankind.

May we know and experience the 'fullness of life and power' that comes from You God. Through Your 'mighty power at work within us,' we pray that You would 'accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think'.

In Jesus' Name, through all generations,
Forever,
Amen.
