It's me again God,
I've really enjoyed getting to dwell on some of Your names these past few days. I just feel like I'm getting to know You better! You are Abba —Daddy, Adonai —Master, You are in charge! You are Elohim —Creator, Yahweh—LORD, El Shaddai —Almighty, You have always existed and El Roi —You are the God who sees! I praise You for all that You are to me!
Today I am so grateful to be reminded that Your name 'El Elyon' tells me that You are the Most High God or God Most High! You are exalted and above all the forces of darkness in this world! Thank You that when I come to You in prayer, I am coming before the highest authority —I'm going straight to the top!

There surely is no one like You! You are 'El Olam', the everlasting God! When everything fades away, You will always be there!

Everything around me in this world is so temporary, all my possessions wear out and even my body shows signs of ageing but I am thankful that You El Olam, are everlasting!
Thank You that You are 'Jehovah', the existing One —Lord and there are many words that are used to bring out Your characteristics with this name:
Jehovah Raah —the Lord is my Shepherd (Psalm 23:1)
Jehovah Rapha —the Lord that Heals (Exodus 15:26)
Jehovah Shammah —the Lord is There (Ezekiel 48:35)
Jehovah Tsidkenu —the Lord our Righteousness (Jeremiah 23:6)
Jehovah Jireh —the Lord will Provide (Genesis 22:14)
Jehovah Sabaoth —the Lord of Hosts, the Lord of Powers (Psalm 48:8)
Jehovah Mekoddishkem —the Lord who makes you Holy (Leviticus 20:8)
Jehovah Shalom —the Lord is Peace (Judges 6:24)
You are perfect in all of Your ways! You are my good, good Father —that's who You are! I am loved by You and that is so wonderfully reassuring to remember! Thank You for calling me and adopting me into Your family. Thank You for sending Jesus so this would be possible and for allowing me to be free from the burden and weight of my sin. I have everything I will ever need because I have Your Holy Spirit dwelling in me —You are with me always!
