The bowling alley

S pov

i'm straightening my hair when Ally shows up "i'm ready buddy" "i'm about to finish..just a couple of minutes".my phone buzzes and i rush to it..i see what is and my eyes widen..she's pretty..she's wearing something casual but it's just enough for my heart to start beating faster.i text her

Me: wow...who is the lucky one you will meet?

Ally looks at me with a weird face "Shannon are you ok?you're staring at the phone like a maniac" "it's not true!" "what is it?let me see" "no..it's nothing" i say,trying to pull away the phone "It's a girl...Shannon,let me seeeeeee" "what?it's not a girl...let me finish with my hair or we're going to be late".

Half an hour later

she didn't respond to my message..maybe she doesn't wanna share her private life with me,she has a date,for sure.me and Ally are on our way to the bowling alley.

Here we are,waiting for Courtney ahead of the bowling alley..finally,i see her approaching us,i call her from my position but my face changes when i realize she's not alone.i see behind her a blonde and a guy..and another silhouette..when they get closer i can discern their faces and...i'm breathless...i put my hand on Ally's shoulder but my eyes are staring on her..Cari..smiling shily at me.Ally is telling me"Shannon,is..everything ok?" i don't answer,i look like i'm having a panick attack.i smile forcedly when they arrive to us.Courtney: "surprise!" i keep smiling while the blonde one introduces herself "hey nice to meet you,i'm Sami" "nice to meet you..i am..Shannon" while i keep staring at the blonde behind her.Sami,with a smirk,overcomes me and introduces herself to Ally...then it's the boy's turn: "hi,i'm Ryan"...Cari comes forward with an uncertain step "hey......." i pull out a dazzling smile looking in her eyes "hi little Fletch..." she lowers her eyes,smiling..then we look back at us and she speaks to me "sorry i didn't answer to the message...i didn't want to ruin the surprise"...i just can smile and nod.

C pov

as we approach the alley,i feel my breath going heavy..finally i see her,from afar..i hold my fingers in my jacket sleeves to make me strong..when our eyes meet,my heart starts beating like crazy.in her eyes i see incredulity..i smile at her,she stares at me...when we talk,i feel light..she scans me with those eyes..

we walk inside,giving the names to put in to the boards to play..finally,ready to play,we sit in our space and Shannon comes sit next to me "soooo...to what i owe the honor to see you tonight?" i laugh "no honor...i simply messed up things getting them more complicated than what they are"  she smiles "and how are these things?" i get lost in her eyes "...i don't know...i go with the flow" she doesn't answer,getting up to start playing..Sami reaches me "so,missihaveacrushonShannonBeveridge..how's going?"  "ssssh.."  "don't be dramatic..she has a crush on you too...it's evident Cari"  "she's beautiful,damn!"  Sami smiles complacently "tonight Cari's gonna receive a present"  i look at her badly  "what do you mean..i don't..i don't wanna make things that way.."  "Cari it's your turn.." i stand up to pull the ball.Shannon looks at me smiling..i send the ball totally out...i point at her with my finger,telling her "this turn doesn't count because you distracted me"  she laughs  "how did i distract you?" i get closer to her to get me out from this shyness and awe i'm feeling and make her realize that i'm confident.i whisper  "you came too close to me"..i head to the sofa and sit,glad to left her dazed.

S pov

wow..her scent..i was analyzing her since i saw her...she's stunning...her hair,her face,her body...she's gorgeous...but i didn't smell her scent yet...i've been caught in a seduction and charm cloud..while i scan her,Ally approaches me "done with eating her with your eyes?" "umm,what?who?"  "shut up,Shannon...it's written all over you..now,tell me..who is she,where did you meet.. just sex or more?"  "she's Courtney's friend...i've noticed her on Instagram..i don't know how to answer to your last question 'cause this is the first time we meet" "wow...you seem to have quite a lot of feeling for bein' the first time" i smile and taking advantage from Sami's turn to play,i go to Cari sitting next to her "how's work going?"  "to tell the true,in a short time i'll be back in New York"  "so...tell me this "go with the flow" thing" she smiles and i get lost in that mouth "well,i've decided to not think too much...it will go as it should go..in conclusion,it's not sure there will be something..maybe you realize i'm not your type"  "i wouldn't say so...."  she comes even closer to me...our legs are touching now...she puts her hand on mine,looking intensely at me "i'd like to know you better,Shannon". i get lost in her eyes and swallow,i don't know what to say.it's the first time this happens to me.i open my mouth,she keeps staring into my eyes.is it possible to be so beautiful?fortunately,Courtney comes to us,saving me from my own awkwardness "hey guys,you're breaking the ice..Shan,do you know Cari is a singer?"  "um,yes..i know her song.War paint i think it's the title"  i can feel Cari gaze all over me all the time.Courtney keeps talking "i think, you guys, have a lot in common"  "i have a feeling you're right" Cari says.silence..we keep looking intensely..Courtney clears her voice "i think..i think it's my turn,bye!". "so,tell me..what do you think we have in common?"  i ask her  "mmm,i have to be honest with you Shannon..i kinda knew you"  "what?" "i noticed you on Courtney instagram a long time ago..and...i also commented on a picture" i'm laughing,she's blushing  "whaaaat?"  "yes...i...i've been caught by my girlfriend,looking at your instagram...Shannon!stop laughing so hard"  "sorry...i can't help,what happened?"  "she forbade me to see your pictures..but that's not all..i started to follow Cammie" i change my facial expression,she asks fast "if this hurts you,we don't have to talk about it"  "No,no..it's just...strange..so,you know my ex girlfriend"  "yeah..and i started following you when i knew that you were single"  "wow...so...you...do you liked me?"  i ask very fast.she didn't undestand what i said,so i try to keep my calm and talk slowly  "do you liked me?"  she breathes out  "y-yeah"  ok.she liked me.in a physical way..but real life and fantasy are two different things.maybe once she knows me,she won't like me anymore.i was thinking this paranoid stuff when she interrupts my thoughts  "are you scared?"  "by what?"  "by me..by the fact that i stalked you" i laugh  "you're not exactly a person to fear"  oh my god,the way she looks at me,she's just too sweet,i wanna hug her..i'm about to do it when Ally shouts "Shan,it's your turn".

C pov

i think we were about to hug each other but the game stops us.she gets up to play..she tears down a lot of skittles.i can't help but stare at her..she's so beautiful.she's tall..she has incredible eyes and a smile that makes my knees tremble.Courtney catches me staring "hey girl..do you need a towelette?"  i question her with a look  "you're drooling"  she adds  "fuck you" i say, she laughs "i stated the obvious,right Sami?"  "oh yes lady.Cari is gone"  "stop you douchebag"  i get up to play.
