Shannon's working on her laptop and i'm staring at her arm..i smile,seeing my name on it.i start grazing her skin with my fingertips,causing her goosebumps. she turns her head and smiles.i keep touching her arm,still incredulous that she wrote down my name on her body. "you're mine"  i mumble to myself...she looks at me  "really?". i raise my eyes from the tattoo,to stare into her blue eyes  "only mine"... she smiles,putting the laptop aside  "what about you?"  she asks me,getting closer to me. i start playing with her hair  "you tell me"  i reply..she places a soft kiss on my lips..i caress her cheek,keeping the kiss when she tries to pull away. then,she looks into my eyes and pecks my lips  "you're my woman.nobody can touch you..or look at you...or talk to you.."  i chuckle  "Shannon.."  she tightens her grip on me and caresses my belly  "how do you feel?"  "i'm okay"  i look at the clock  "I think your daughter is going to wake up in a few minutes..you know..for her snack". she nods  "i'll take care of her"  i kiss her cheek. our home phone starts ringing  "Shanbee?"  "yes,baby". she gets up and grabs the receiver  "hello?....yes,it's me..."  her face changes and i get worried instantly.. "ouch"  my baby boy kicks and i clench my jaw. "umm...are you sure?...yes....I have to talk to my wife...okay...thanks..bye".....she hangs up. her face is pale and her body is frozen..i try to get on my feet but i feel tension on my bump  "ugh..Shan...Shannon..what happened?"  she finally looks at me  "they...they found..the driver...the one who cut me off the street"  "oh..well,it's a good thing..why that face?"  she slowly comes sitting next to me  "yeah,it's a good thing..it's just that..i was trying to forget that moment"  i start caressing her shoulder  "baby,i get what you say..it was the scariest and ugliest moment of my life..i thought i lost you..i felt useless and empty..my life,without you,is not life"  she gives me a small smile  "you're the mother of my children..i told them that i had to talk with you"  "about what,baby?"  i ask her  "about the fact..that i have to testify"  "um..are you going,right?"  "am i? i don't know..i'm scared"  "of what,Shanbee?we want justice..i want justice more than anything..i...i can't imagine where i'd be if you...if you"  she grabs my face  "babe..sssh..stop crying..i'm here..with you..we will live together for the rest of our lives..i promise you"...my lips are trembling but she stops them,kissing me.then,i put my hands over hers,on my face  "i love you,baby"  she whispers to calm me down  "and i love this little prince.."  she smiles,touching the belly. June's cry fills the room,through the baby monitor  "and i love our hungry princess"  she says,chuckling...then gets up  "i'm coming back with the blonde monkey"  i nod...when she's about to exit the room, i call her  "babe..."  she turns around  "you promised you'd fix the mailbox"  she giggles  "of course,my landlady"  i roll my eyes,repressing a smile.

"awww...is this little shark in a bad mood?"  i say,looking at my daughter..the baby whines,making me smile.. Shannon grabs her snack  "in a minute,she'll change idea..right,baby girl?". i sit on the couch,waiting for them..i open my arms  "i can feed her..you can take care of the mailbox"  i tell her  "oh..okay". i hold my baby,kissing her head  "how are we feeling, pretty girl?i know,i know...but,here...the train is getting to the station...open your mouth, Junie". i caress her hair as she bites the food  "you're so sweet". my son kicks, drawing June's attention..she widens her eyes  "oh..who is it? it's your brother"  i grab her tiny hand,placing it on my bump to make her feel Gary's presence..she starts laughing out loud.. "awww...i die with you two.."  i hold her tight,placing kisses all over her face..she smiles happily  "you're gonna play with him soon,princess"  i tell,grabbing the spoon. she opens her mouth  "aww,you're mommy's happiness".

I reach Shannon in the front of our house  "how's going?"  "i'm almost done". i take a look at the mailbox  "are you going to paint it in white,right?"  i ask her  "why?don't you like it?"  "not really.i want everything to be perfect..our house is white..so the mailbox has to be white".. she raises her eyebrows  "you're lucky that i crave you"  i bite my lip..i'm playing with her,at this point.i look at her sweaty body  "do you need some water,Shannon?"  "no,i need something else"  she replies,grabbing my waist to get me closer to her  "how can i help you?"  "i'm fixing this..but you have to reward me"  "ah,really?"  "yes,you can bet". i smile,tucking her hair behind her ear  "okay.i'm gonna reward you"  "mmm,i can't wait". i place a kiss on her lips  "but now..finish the job". i turn around to walk to the house..i can see her staring at me with the corner of my eye..she's starting to think about sex..but she's gonna find out what the reward will be.
