the alarm rings but i'm already awake..i woke up an hour ago..my baby's sleeping and i'm enjoying the amazing view of her beautiful face inches away from me.i can hear noises in the house..i smile..today's the day..i'm going to marry the love of my life.i get up and immediately June opens her eyes..i smile at her,kissing her cheeks  "come to mommy". i grab her to clean her up.i wash my face and then we get in the living room where a small crowd of women is talking  "umm..good morning"  they turn around.. Nina,Rebecca,Alex,Erose,my mother and my cousins are looking at me  "Cari..finally!"  my aunt reaches me to hug me.i greet everybody..my aunts and cousins take care of June since they don't see my daughter very often.i sit down..i look at the breakfast but i realize that i'm not hungry.i look at Alex who comes sitting next to me  "hey sis,are you fine?"  i take a deep breath  "yes..but i'm emotional.."  she smiles  "i know..you're marrying Shannon Beveridge..your crush"  "aww.."  "come on..take a shower..we're taking care of the princess". i stand up  "ok,thank you". when i step in my bedroom,i notice a notification on my phone..there's a text from Shannon:

loveofmylife: good morning princess..i missed you so much last night.happy anniversary ❤ ❤ i love you so much

i smile like an idiot and type a reply: we missed you as well..we're going to sleep together for the rest of our lives.i love you so so much..3 years together baby.

i sigh,sitting in my bed..i've never been so happy and sure in my life..then i start taking off my clothes to take a shower.i let myself go,under the water.i start losing myself in thoughts..i picture Shannon in her wedding dress..me looking at her and starting crying..my hands are shaking  "come on Cari..you can do this..". i wrap my body in a towel..the goosebumps and the butterflies are constantly with me..i look at myself in the mirror and i can't help but feel Shannon's hands on me.i step in my bedroom..another text:

some tears escape from my eyes..why am i like this?i type a reply: my heart stops, thinking about your beauty.

i put on a shirt and a pair of sweatpants and get in the living room again.there's just my father with June in his arms  "where are they?"  i ask him  "they told me it was late..they are upstairs in one of the guests' rooms"  i nod  "Cari,are you okay?"  "sure..i'm just nervous"  he smiles  "my baby is getting married.i'm nervous too..but i love Shannon..and this little human"  i hug them,placing a kiss on their cheeks  "can you stay with her?"  "of course.take your time". when the doorbell rings,i go to the door..finally my hairdresser and my makeup artist are here.we go in my room to start the makeover.half an hour later,Nina reaches me  "you're beautiful"  i tell her  "you should see your mother". she holds my hand  "how do you feel?"  "i'm so nervous..i'm shaking"  "why?it's Shannon"  "i know..but this..is huge."  "i know..but it's what you want,isn't it?"  "it's my dream..". the door opens,revealing my mother with my daughter  "aww,you're so beautiful"  she says,crying  "mom..i'm not dressed yet"  "i know..but i like your hair"  i smile,looking at the mirror..i feel like a princess. "well,i think it's time we dress this girl up"  my mother says,referring to June.Nina stands up to help her.i turn my head to look at them but my hairdresser makes me turn around again..five minutes later,i try to look at my daughter but again i'm forced to look forward  "Cari..we're finishing,i promise"  the poor woman chuckles.an hour later,my makeup and my hair are done.i love that my makeup is light..my hair is in a long braid..i smile  "thank you, girls..you did an amazing job"  "you're beautiful and your wife is gonna faint"  i chuckle  "maybe i'll faint as well".

okay Cari,now it's time you get dressed..i open my closet to grab the dress..i take a deep breath..my legs are shaking.i reach my bridesmaids  "girls..let's put this dress on me". "fuck..that corset is so hot"  Erose says,seeing what i'm wearing as underwear.. Alex and my mother close the dress from my back and i try to breathe..they look at me with their open mouths  "what?"  "Cari...you're...you're incredible..princesses do exist"  Alex tells me,making me almost cry..the dress is simple but not too much..it's white of course..it has a large skirt and my shoulders are naked..my upper body is held by a corset who tightens my boobs..i turn around to see me.. "umm...y-yes..i look good..do i?"  Nina is crying and i can tell that the rest of them is emotional as well. "you're more than beautiful"  my sister-in-law hugs me  "thank you". "i wanna see my daughter"  i tell my mom  "yes,she's with your dad". i go downstairs,followed by my friends..my brother and my dad raise their heads,hearing our footsteps...my brother stares at me  "oh my god"  i smile and peck her cheek..when i'm in front of my dad i get emotional again..his eyes are red  "baby...you are..gorgeous"  he stands up and my eyes fall on June..she's wearing her clothes..a grey vest,a white shirt and black pants..  "aww,oh my god"  i start tearing up  "Cari,no..you can't cry"  my makeup artist tells me, worried...i try to contain my emotion,biting my lip..i hug my daughter  "you're so beautiful,baby".
