as i step in the nursery, the cry of my baby boy welcomes us  "aw, mommy's here..ssh, be quiet"  i hold him tight as Shannon takes care of our girl who's sucking her pacifier, looking at the strange object in my arms. she mumbles, pointing at her brother...Shannon kisses her head  "what? Gary bothered you? we're gonna tell him to be quiet. come on, June..tell him". my wife and my daughter reach us..i plant a big kiss on the girl's forehead and then look at the interaction between the babies..June takes off her pacifier and mumbles, looking at my son..the boy starts whining  "Cari...i think we need to change his diaper"  "mmm...oh..you're fucking right"  "me and the princess are making breakfast..i'll be waiting for you, to eat"  i nod and place a kiss on her lips  "thank you, babe..i'm changing this guy". i put him in the changing table  "you're so tiny..oh, these little feet..."  i kiss them  "you're so handsome..mom loves you.so much little Shan, i swear".. i grab the wet wipes...he whines a little but i manage to clean his body. then, i kiss his thighs  "you're going to be so beautiful..with your blue eyes..because your eyes are blue, mommy's little cutie, right?". when i'm done, i take him in my arms  "now, let's go to your mom and your sister".

"what are you doing, Shanbee?"  "June is helping me with the pancakes"  "really? let's see". i walk around the peninsula and my heart explodes..Shannon is smiling widely, with June in her arms.. in the pancake there's a candle and  "happy birthday mom"  written on it  "awww, you're so cute"  i hug and kiss them, making my baby chuckle..i grab her sweet cheeks  "thank you, love..mommy is so happy".  "come on, Cari..make a wish"  "Shan...it's our birthday, not mine..let's make a wish together"  "okay"  "you ready?"  she nods and closes her eyes. we blow the candle and kiss our lips. "du.."  "what?do you want another kiss?"  i ask my daughter  "oh my god, come here..i wanna eat you"  i grab my baby and start squishing and kissing her. Shannon checks our baby boy in his stroller  "what a beautiful guy..all clean and scented..your grandma will freak out".

we're eating  "when are they gonna come?"  i ask my wife  "they will be here at seven"  "what about the food?originally, we planned to cook..but..a little someone has decided to come, yesterday"  "i can cook, baby"  "Shannon...no.it's too much for one person"  "i can call Alex"  "ugh, i don't know..i mean, i don't want our friends to work"  "baby..it's our birthday. everybody is going to be at our service..now, more than ever..with that little prince around"  i smile  "okay"  she places a kiss on my lips  "happy birthday again"  i give her another kiss  "happy birthday to you, my love".

"open your mouth...good girl..awww"  June is very happy to eat and it's pure happiness for me and Shannon. she smiles, grabbing the plates. when she finishes to wash them, she looks at me  "can you stay with them for some minutes?"  "yes,where are you going?"  "i'm preparing the bathtub for you"  i raise my eyebrows  "oh..you don't have to..i don't wanna leave you alone with the kids"  she shakes her head  "no.you deserve it..let me take care of you..please..it's your birthday"  i sigh  "you're incredible..i will reward you, i promise".
