"mom...Gary bit me"  June says, walking to me  "what?"  she raises her right arm. I smile  "it's nothing..his teeth can't hurt you, baby"  "he's mean"  "nooo, you're so dramatic..your mother thinks you're like me and maybe she's right" I chuckle, taking the little girl in my arms  "what does it mean damatic?"  "dramatic means that you cry and complain about all the things"  she pouts  "I'm not damatic". I plant a big kiss on her cheek. she's almost three years now...time has passed quickly. Gary has teeth. he learned a few words... he calls me and Shannon mom... in the past months, I took care of them but in the meanwhile, I wrote a few songs. the phone rings:

Cari: hello?

Natalie: hey bitch

C: umm...June's with me

N: oh really? let me greet her

C: here... auntie Natalie wants to talk to you

the baby grabs the phone, smiling

June: hi!

N: hey, little princess. what's up?

J: mom is cooking

N: really? what about Gary?

J: he's mean.. he bites us

I can hear Natalie chuckling

N: you're so cute

C: she bullies him.. my baby boy is so sweet, he's just going through that phase

N: yeah. so... you have a commitment today

C: yeah, I know. i'll be there, don't worry

N: okay. let me know how it goes

C: okay, bye

J: bye, auntie Nali

N: bye, beautiful girl.

I look at my boy  "hey, mama's cutie"  he smiles  "we're going to see mom". June screams, jumping... Gary starts moving frantically on his high chair, saying  "mom, mom". "I just need your help, okay? I have to put on a dress" I tell them. my daughter nods... I smile, kissing her cheek  "let's go upstairs"  "asters"  my son repeats.

June is playing with her brother, sitting on my bed as I'm putting on a dress. I look at my cleavage  "mommy you're beautiful"  June comments, making me smile  "yeah? you think mom will like me?"  she nods, enthusiastic. "what about my boy?"  he only smiles as I walk to them. he chuckles cutely as i grab him... "June what did you do?"  I ask, looking at my son's face with wide eyes. the girl shrugs her shoulders  "he wants to be beautiful for mom"  I sigh loudly  "no...makeup is not made for babies...poor prince...let's remove this lipstick from your mouth and from your teeth" I give June a bad look...she looks around... I can't with her...she's a comedian. the little boy smiles as I take the makeup off his face  "oh my god... I can't"  I start giggling, looking at my daughter's job...the baby starts giggling loudly too  "what should I do with you two? you're my life".

I'm waiting for the uber, in the alleyway, dressed like I'm going to a club. red dress and red lipstick...as the man gets off of the car, he raises his eyebrows. surely, I look weird from the outside. I look like a go-go dancer holding two strollers. "hi..i'm helping you"  "hi. okay, thanks".

as I enter Shannon's company office, Rachel widens her eyes  "you look insane"  I giggle  "I know..". my kids wave at my friend  "aw.. hi, little angels...they're so cute"  I smile proudly. then she focuses on me  "oh, wow...you're gonna drive her crazy"  "that's the point"  i tell, winking at her. she shakes her head  "will you need help with the angels?"  "umm..yes, thank you. but first, i want them to see her"  "sure.. i'm coming in a few minutes, then".
