My Dearest, Thomas Jefferson

I could have texted you these words. I, however, did not want to. I wanted these words to get to you as slowly as they ever could in this time we call the 21st century. I wanted to see you at work and wonder if you'd gotten the letter or not. It was a matter of me having to wait for it.

I know exactly how to say what I am trying to get across here. I know how to use the words. What I don't know is how to use it. I don't know when I should say it. Today, when I sat down at my desk, something told me I should say it. I know it will affect our relationship. The one where we both hate each other? It's fine, I can live without that relationship.

Let me tell you what I want to say.

I love you, Thomas Jefferson.

I have loved you since the day I met you. Your eyes are captivating. I always wondered what it would be like to feel your lips on mine. I know you may not want to read the next thing you're going to read. Proceed with caution.

I always wondered what it would be like to have you touching me.

I will not say anymore, Thomas.

I understand if you don't feel the same way. I see the way you look at James Madison. But thank you for reading, either way.

Sincerely,
Me
(Alexander Hamilton)

Thomas put the letter down, turning the flashlight off on his phone. Looking to his side, Thomas looked at Alex. He was sleeping. With Thomas. In their bed. That letter had started it all. It helped Thomas come to a truce with the feelings he felt for Alexander. It helped him realize they were there.

Alex was with him through it all. When he came out to his parents, when his parents told him it was wrong, and that night. That night, the night Thomas got drunk. Alex took care of him.

Thoams remembered that day. It was a great day.

"H-Hello." Alex finally spoke to Thomas. He had been avoiding him for weeks. Thomas found that attractive and adorable. His shyness. His sweaters, his style of clothing, his huge eyes, and most of all, him. Thomas loved him. Nothing Alex could or would do could change that.

"Hey. I'm up here, baby." It was the first time Thomas called him baby. Taking his face in his hands, he pulled it up until Alex was looking straight at him with his large eyes. They were watering and Alex whimpered until his hard hold.

Thomas leaned in.

"Say hello to me again, baby."

"Hello." Alex whimpered again, eyes darting away, looking at everything but Thomas's face.

So he kissed him.

The kiss was deep, beautiful, tasty-

"Go to sleep." Alex groaned next to him, his voice barely audible.

"I will."

"Now~" Alex turned around in the bed, snuggling against Thomas. He let out whimpers and whines telling Thomas to go to sleep.

"I love you, Alex." He whispered.

"I love you, too, Tommy." Alex whispered back.

"Don't call me that." Thomas glared down at his boyfriend, who was giggling against Thomas.

"Goodnight, daddy."

Thomas's face flushed a deep red before he slipped under the blankets and kissed Alex's forehead.

"Goodnight."
